    How to sync time to current datetime for device dont have sim card or telephone carrier

    HI SOTI discussion I have some issue with tablet device , some device time is not current , so i want to set or sync date time to current date time with script or use xml file. how to do ? Table Samsung Galaxy TAB S4 S6 Network is Wifi hot spot not use sim card  Agent 15,3 Server version 2024

    Configure ScreenSaver Solved

    Hi, I have about 400 devices that work as a price checkers in stores. SOTI Surf is being used with kiosk mode enabled. Now my client asks me to install a screensaver on these devices, while they are not being used. They want to show a list of videos(.mp4 or .mov) and images(.jgg, .png, or.jpeg) in loop. Any idea how can I do this? SOTI has any feature to configure screen saver? Thanks.     Android Everything pending Install Solved

    Hi Everyone, I have several customers with fresh new On-Premise installation which are unable to use MobiControl properly. Everyone of them is on 2024.1.0It doesn't matter if it's Android Enterprise or Android Classic. Every device stucks on the profile installation "Pending Install" Older devices do not react to an Agent Update. With one customer I have the issue like a month ago already. Support told me that a new MobiControl Agent release would fix this but it didn't.Another customer has this issue since yesterday. The day before everything was working fine and they didn't changed anything on the system environment. Is somebody here which is expieriencing the same behaviour on their environment? I don't have this issue in my cloud instances.

    Do we have any option in SOTI while device mobing one folder to another so apps get reinstall/refreshed

    Hello Team, We are looking for auto reinstall app options when device moving from folder A to B. Since we have relocation rules on ip based and when device moves it get automatically relocated to particular folder so previous user data on device and  logged in app so wanted to just reinstall to erase\refresh the app while moving from one location to another location. So is there any rules, features or option that provide app auto reinstall while it moving.?? Thank you.

    TC72 Android 11 : Work managed rather than work profile

    I'm trying to install SOTI MobiControl as a fully managed device to my new Zebra TC72 Android 11. We have to be connected to the company's network/wifi in order to enroll SOTI in the past and we used StageNow to install. However, this time I'm doing this remotely from home. So, I had to install Cisco AnyConnect first to connect to VPN out of the box then install SOTI using an external SD card. It was installed successfully, but I was prompted to create a work profile. Is there a way to install it as a work managed while connected to VPN? Or was it me installing AnyConnect that was causing the work profile?  Note: Our SOTI MobiControl version is: 14.3.4.1087

    How to hide android navigation bar with a lockdown

    Good afternoon,I cannot find any way to completely hide the android navigation bar on our devices while on lockdown with single app mode on.We are working with Android Enterprise profiles Manufacturer Elo Touch Solutions Model 15in-I-Series-4Android version10   I did try with writeproofsetting scripts but not sure I have the right one.The bar is already disabled but best would be to be able to hide it or at least replace it with the gestures navigation.   Thanks a lot for your help!Ben

    MobiControl Enrollment not working on device side

    Hello, Earlier this morning I was remote viewing my Note 20 Ultra, which I enrolled as a BYOD device for testing. When I disconnected I notice my phone still had the screen sharing icon up. Figured it would go away at some point. I pushed an update to the BYOD profile and a couple related app policies, and my phone. That's when I noticed agent was showing as "Connected, waiting for response from the server..." And would turn green. I thought deleting the device (and removing the work profile) on the phone and re-enrolling would fix it, but when I try to enroll it just gets stuck on "enrollment is in progress" (until the screen goes out or I navigate away, where it says "failed to connect, please retry). If i keep the screen on it eventually just stays blank. When I look at the logs on the WebConsole it says successfully re-enrolled, multiple times. Pretty new to MobiControl, but as far as I can tell there aren't any errors or warnings that I can see. Update: I tried the solution suggested below but it didn't work. I did find the logs and there are warnings about Play Integrity Tests (specifically, the IMEI is showing up as unknown and some Integirty Tests fail). I changed the policy to force enrollment even if integrity tests fail and the latest log entry is an error regarding a failure to create an MGPA token for AE device. I'm not sure if it's related but there's also an error on the management server saying it failed to update. It's also worth noting that the Deployment Server diagnostic logs keep showing Pulse Checker trying to check in with its Device ID, and it's gone now but Deployment Server Extension diagnostic logs showed that the device ID already exists (despite the strict re-enrollment and the unenrolled deletion being turned on): 2024-04-30 14:22:23,927 (0x00001930) [ERROR] [ 83] PulseChecker: Disconnect Comm.Client.1421 [GMEW-PEBZ-C3WE-6LL3F-5VN3-LYWJ-K] due to no activity timeout

    I have a Bluebird EF500 model. I want to enroll Android Enterprise. How to do it on first screen? I have perform Factory Reset and the device has erase everything and it restart to welcome screen. From there, I don't know how to enter the android enterprise to insert enrollment ID.

    Android Enterprise - default phone app replacement

    I'm working on creating a custom phone/dialer app.However, I'm having troubles with granting phone role to my app a.k.a. changing the default app for phone calls. Some tech details: We are using MobiControl Version: 15.6.5.1018 Support devices with android 10+. My devices are Zebra and most of them are model TC57x. Devices are in lockdown, showing kiosk dashboard. My app is requesting a phone app role as specified in herehttps://developer.android.com/reference/android/app/role/RoleManager I have blacklisted default phone apps via a Profile, like that: Profile -> Configuration -> App run controlBlacklistPhone - com.android.phoneZebra Phone - com.zebra.phone Then I've used a legacy script to grant all of the permissions to my custom phone app afw_set_permission_grant_state com.example.dev android.permission.CALL_PHONE allowafw_set_permission_grant_state com.example.dev android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE allowafw_set_permission_grant_state com.example.dev android.permission.ANSWER_PHONE_CALLS allowafw_set_permission_grant_state com.example.dev android.permission.READ_CALL_LOG allowafw_set_permission_grant_state com.example.dev android.permission.READ_CONTACTS allowrestartagent However, when I do a phone call from my second device my custom phone app is not launched. It's even more interesting, as the locked device does not launch any app for the incoming call. How can I set my custom app to be default phone app?
