Hello, Earlier this morning I was remote viewing my Note 20 Ultra, which I enrolled as a BYOD device for testing. When I disconnected I notice my phone still had the screen sharing icon up. Figured it would go away at some point. I pushed an update to the BYOD profile and a couple related app policies, and my phone. That's when I noticed agent was showing as "Connected, waiting for response from the server..." And would turn green. I thought deleting the device (and removing the work profile) on the phone and re-enrolling would fix it, but when I try to enroll it just gets stuck on "enrollment is in progress" (until the screen goes out or I navigate away, where it says "failed to connect, please retry). If i keep the screen on it eventually just stays blank. When I look at the logs on the WebConsole it says successfully re-enrolled, multiple times. Pretty new to MobiControl, but as far as I can tell there aren't any errors or warnings that I can see. Update: I tried the solution suggested below but it didn't work. I did find the logs and there are warnings about Play Integrity Tests (specifically, the IMEI is showing up as unknown and some Integirty Tests fail). I changed the policy to force enrollment even if integrity tests fail and the latest log entry is an error regarding a failure to create an MGPA token for AE device. I'm not sure if it's related but there's also an error on the management server saying it failed to update. It's also worth noting that the Deployment Server diagnostic logs keep showing Pulse Checker trying to check in with its Device ID, and it's gone now but Deployment Server Extension diagnostic logs showed that the device ID already exists (despite the strict re-enrollment and the unenrolled deletion being turned on): 2024-04-30 14:22:23,927 (0x00001930) [ERROR] [ 83] PulseChecker: Disconnect Comm.Client.1421 [GMEW-PEBZ-C3WE-6LL3F-5VN3-LYWJ-K] due to no activity timeout
Hi, Can soti mobicontrol set deny read or write files in modern windows?
I enrolled my personal Android 12 phone in soti mobicontrol using work profile. I need to fetch Mac address of the device but when pull devices data using the API and also in dashboard mac addresses fiels are coming as blank/unknown. Any Solution to this? Hey all!I would like to remove the "Recents" button while in lockdown. I have figured out up until now that you can do this by running lockdown in "Native" mode, this way the button does get removed. The problem is that I am using an app called "Velocity" in this app there are 2 seperate profiles, and I am using the "intent:" action to open the app with a specific profile For example: ProfileAProfileB #Intent;action=android.intent.action.MAIN;component=com.wavelink.velocity/.te.SplashActivity;S.openProfile=ProfileA;end;#Intent;action=android.intent.action.MAIN;component=com.wavelink.velocity/.te.SplashActivity;S.openProfile=ProfileB;end; This intent works when in Activity suppression mode, but not when in Native mode.The end goal is to have the intent working as intended, and have the recents button removed/disabled.
We are currently trying to restrict access to one of our apps we created on SOTI Snap. We have an app that we need our users to access only between the hours of 0500am and 1200pm. Does anyone know if or how we can do this? Thanks for any help in advance

Hello there, I recently upgraded to Mobicontrol Version: 2024.0.1.1020 - after upgrade mobicontrol no longer supports native APN atleast not on my envoirement in the documentation it states that the profile does not work on MAPI-enrolled devices however all my devices are not enrolled in this way, yet the profile is not supported. So I am thinking about configure this APN setting using KSP, but without luck.Is it because the name here is wrong, the name defined has 2 different names. 1 in the overview and 1 inside the APN configuration.Does anybody how to make this work?
Hi, We have a problem, import_contacts_vcf %sdcard%\contacts.vcf 1 no longer replaces my contacts but only adds them to the existing contacts. Good morning everyone! I know this question has been asked over the years, but I thought I would revive the topic. I am currently working on automating the process of building and deploying .pcg files to our server. I am currently on MobiControl 15.4 and all of the devices are Samsung Tab active 2's and 3s. OS versions running from 9 up to OS version 13. I have automated certain parts of the process, i.e leveraging the API to post profiles and packages to the server and setting up pipeline for deployment. The issue I am running into is the actual building of the .pcg. I have researched this form through and through, I have tried using the PkgUtil command line tool. That works fine, however, I need to be able to set certain parameters while building the .pcg file. For example, I need to set the location of where the file is saved and to set the option of 'Do not uninstall the file'. Has anyone had any luck with such a process? I have 10 of thousands of devices to make profiles and packages for. I am looking to automate this process as much as possible. Any and all information and help is greatly appreciated.
Howdy all, I am attempting to enroll some Samsung A9+ tablets. After successfully enrolling ~20 tablets, I have 7 tablets that will not enroll. I cannot seem to find where enrollment logs are located on the cloud server so I can troubleshoot further. Can someone point me in the right direction? I am on version 15.6.3.1018. I also have a support ticket in, but would like to resolve this myself if possible because it is faster. Thanks!
Is there any way to get a device's IP address using SOTI's Javascript API? When I call the below function from within the API, I get back "undefined", but getting the same info using the %HOSTNAME% macro using legacy scripting returns an IP, is there anything I'm doing wrong here? var ip = mobicontrol.network.IpAddress.hostName; mobicontrol.log.info(""+ip); The log was just to test what value gets returned from the variable above.
