Is there other variables that can be passed though the KME profile using the Custom JSON Data field that is being used for the enrollment ID to the MobiControl Agent? Hi! I have looked at the different posts about this and also in the documentation and the scripts documentation. I can´t seem to find information about the specific 90 days block that by all the information given by Google and SOTI, should be able to be deployed to the devices running as a Work Managed Device. Is this sent with the set_system_update_policy command or a FeatureControl script command? And is there any way of checking how many days left on the block?
Hi, I'm using SOTI V13 with Android devices (Samsung Xcover) and I would like to enable OS auto-update on all devices. Is there a script to do it? On most of devices the OS Auto-update field is not checked and a lot of devices can't have the last update of Androïd OS. Many thanks for your help. BR Farid

Hi! We need to be able to enable Data-Roaming on devices for the SIM card to work properly. With watchsettings command in MobiControl we can get the "-glo data_roaming 1" value but writesecuresetting won't work with this command. Is there some other way of enabling data-roaming on devices, programmatically from MobiControl. The devices are Samsung devices. Since MobiControl can get the logs from the device with the particular global setting, it should also be able to change the value.
hi everyone, i have a kiosk that works great on 8'' tablets. i am testing it on a samsung galaxy s7 but the kiosk seems large and you have to scroll to sides to see everything. is there an easy way to format it to fit the 5.1 screen? thanks in advance

Is it possible to setup the Samsung device with Android 8+ OS as Fully managed devices with work profile (COPE) without use of Samsung Knox container? The Google docs writes that should be available on Android 8+ devices. Is it possible to setup it on any Android 8+ device in SOTI? I can't find any information about it in documentation. Hi I need a command to type in a postinstall script to set Chrome as default browser. Basicly automating that the users has to choose a default browser. Feature control or something else is fine too, I just havent been able to find it. Its Samsung Galaxy S8 and S9 devices. Its Android Enterprise devices. Anyone know how to?
Hello, We have Samsung devices with lockdown, with Disable Status Bar Expansion, so the user may not display QuickSettings. But, when the battery is below 10% there appears a low battery notification, and the user may display QuickSettings from it. Is there any way to disable such notifications or Quick Settings completly? Thank you for your comments
I deployed a lockdown on a samsung Xcover. I added on the lockdown a shortcut to start the standard application ''Téléphone''. I tried to launch the 3 applications below one by one but nothing happens. Thank you in advance for your help
We keep having issues whereby multiple users are being randomly unassigned from Samsung SM-T365 (Android) devices for no reason whatsoever. Whenever this happens their Exchange profile is removed and we see the below entry in the log file for the device: Device Configuration removed ([EAS Settings] Configuration is being uninstalled) We are then able to re-assign the user and the Exchange profile is automatically re-added, however this is getting quite annoying! We are currently running Soti MobiControl v13.2.0.3247 Has anyone else seen the same issue? Thanks, Stuart
Hi everybody, is it possible to grant permissions to access the device storage for an app which was not installed by SOTI Mobi Control? By default the app does not have any permissions. Setting the permissions via the device settings is not an option for us. Are there any solutions with "writesecuresettings" or anything else? Watchsettings did not produce a log entry. Simon
Hi, I'm currently investigating how I can automate as much of our tablet setup process as possible. One thing we do is reduce the camera resolution for saved images, so images that my company's field team upload to our systems, don't fill the servers with unnecessarily high quality images! I've looked at the following posts and attempted the watchsettings on function but I'm not seeing logs for the settings in the camera app on Android 7 (Samsung Galaxy Tab S2). https://discussions.soti.net/thread/what-is-the-script-command-to-pull-a-uri/ https://discussions.soti.net/thread/set-the-device-settings-using-a-script-or-configuration-file/ I understand there's more flexibility with Android Enterprise but Samsung isn't one of the certified manufacturers so we are having to stick with Android Plus. Is there another way I can find out what is being changed when the setting is modified in an attempt to script it? Thanks in advance!
