Hi to all, we are testing a blue bird device and, starting from the moment that our MobiControl is on-premise, not cloud version, we are try to download the soti agent from a local server in our LAN (image that the LAN is a LAN of the Shop). What we want to do seems impossible because the device still try to arrive to Internet to satisfy some OS Android needed but seems that the only possibility to install soti agent is only across the Internet connection... this bheaviour don't permet us to control the Agent version of Soti.Some one can help us?
Hello I have a device that i resetted that won't enroll at all. I read that when you delete a device it ins't on the database. Is there any solution ? We are in a cloud instence.
Good morning, I unenroll a device and I would like to enroll it again. But with I upgraded my MobiControl server to 15.6.5.1018 version.I saw in the release note of the 15.6.5.1018 version: Enrollment Policies Migration: "the Enrollment URLs of the Enrollment Policies created before upgrading to this version of SOTI MobiControl will no longer work" So I guess, that I have to create again the Enrollment Policies. The thing is that I can't find the "add devices" option for android. For example, for windows device, I have this: But for the android, i don't have anything. Thank you for your help
Hi, I came up with problem to enroll our devices on specific WiFi which is secure by FW rules. Basicaly I can say the model of it is everything is closed and what we allow it can be reach. For our Zebra devices we've got enroll from private FTP on site - it's OK Problem occures with non-Zebra devices (tablets) which I want to enroll via QR code. I have to use link to http://soti.net/apk/ae2 If we allowed FQDN it's not enough. After some research we found out that this link redirects to mirrors addresses(servers). Is there any list of approved SOTI sites/IPs which must be allow on FW please? I could find some of them in log but it's always swapping to the new ones. I don't know how big this list can be and finding like that is time consuming. thank you Libor SOTI Mobi version: 15.6.1.1048 device: Lenovo TB-X505F OS: A10 code I'm using in QR: {"android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_DEVICE_ADMIN_SIGNATURE_CHECKSUM":"xxx","android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_DEVICE_ADMIN_COMPONENT_NAME":"net.soti.mobicontrol.androidwork/net.soti.mobicontrol.admin.DeviceAdminAdapter","android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_WIFI_SECURITY_TYPE":"WPA","android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_DEVICE_ADMIN_PACKAGE_DOWNLOAD_LOCATION":"http://soti.net/apk/ae2","android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_LOCALE":"cs_CZ","android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_WIFI_SSID":"xxx","android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_LEAVE_ALL_SYSTEM_APPS_ENABLED":true,"android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_WIFI_PASSWORD":"xxx","android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_TIME_ZONE":"Europe/Amsterdam","android.app.extra.PROVISIONING_ADMIN_EXTRAS_BUNDLE":{"enrollmentId":"xxx"}}
Hi, I was wondering why iOS is requesting to install the iTunes app to install other apps. So devices are DEP enrolled, but when opening the app catalog (pushed from SOTI) and selecting an app ti install, I get following message: App installation:Log in to iTunes to allow "MdmServerX" managing and installing apps... Why does iTunes need to be installed and how to fix this?
I un-enrolled a scanner, cleared the data and apps and am trying to re-enroll it. Getting Enrollment Failed on the MobiControl screen on the Zebra MC930B scanner. How do I get it re-enrolled? I tried deleting it in the WebConsole and it shows back up.
I have a Zebra MC930B scanner that was not getting the proper policies and applications, so I unenrolled it, then deleted it from the WebConsole and then did a device / application reset. Now when I go to enroll, I get the following: Enrollment Failed. How do I get it back into the system?
I am looking for a good method to enroll my ZEBRA VC8300 terminal to a SOTI Mobicontrol console. Currently my method does not seem optimized, after a FactoryReset, I pass all the first steps manually (human action) Once started under the "Home" Android menu, I have to activate the serial port of the machine from the APP "VC Setting" in order to use a scanner and thus the StageNow application to finish my enrollment. The two problems that block the usual method, from the first menu after a FactoryReset : The Google enrollment menu (7 taps from the start menu) does not seem to work, due to the fact that the machine does not have a camera. If I connect a scanner in USB, the reading of the QrCode "ByPass GMS Setup Wizard" which allows me to pass the first steps and launch StageNow does not work. an idea?
These are for use in a warehouse and will just provide velocity access for inventory and possibly push to talk functionality
Hi All, I'm having some problems with our new Samsung Tab Active2. I have installed my Agent.apk file on the devices but when I try to insert the Enrolment ID - It just comes back with Connection to Server Enrollment failed. Please retry or contact your system Admnistrator I have both tried to connect through Enrollment ID and also with the Server IP addresses and Site Name and Rule Tag, but with same issue. I can ping the devices from the server, so they can see each other, And I have talked with our Network department and there are no restrictions for our WiFi network and Servers. We are running Mobicontrol V. 13.4 The devices are only connected through WiFi and Special APN, They don't have access to anything ourside our network. Regards Matthias
Hey there, I am trying to move some devices to a new install of Mobicontrol on a different server. I have a new SSL cert in place and have had some success enrolling new Android+ devices to it. I had some keep giving me "Connection to server failed, an error occurred during the process". I was able to get some devices to work moving between servers if I choose the remove certificates when unenrolling. However, a customer site cannot re-enroll their devices without this error. I have a ticket open but wanted to see if others were able to freely move devices around servers as I think should be allowed. I wonder if it is a certificate issue? Also, it seems like if I enroll with one server I am locked in, and try to enroll elsewhere and get this error. Now I cannot enroll devices from the new server back to the old: 2019-10-29 14:06:59,714 (0x00001da8) [INFO] MessageQueue::<AddWorkerThread>b__49_0() [328] New worker started2019-10-29 14:07:10,633 (0x000012f8) [INFO] MessageProtocolHandler::<Start>b__33_0() [ 31] PulseChecker enter: Send: False, Check: True, Memory: 120382192, ThreadPool: 32767, 999, Queue: 0, Workers: 202019-10-29 14:07:10,633 (0x000012f8) [INFO] MessageProtocolHandler::<Start>b__33_0() [ 31] PulseChecker exit: Total: 28, Connected: 4, Dropped: 0, Retried: 0, finished in 0 ms2019-10-29 14:07:26,998 (0x00000e8c) [INFO] Client::Accept() < 75> Comm.Client.2042: Accepted a new connection from [::ffff:173.162.166.161]:26610.2019-10-29 14:07:27,154 (0x00002b94) [INFO] <OnReceived>d__44::MoveNext() <210> Comm.Client.2042: Client [::ffff:173.162.166.161]:26610 authenticated.
