How do I re-enroll a Zebra MC930B Scanner?

I un-enrolled a scanner, cleared the data and apps and am trying to re-enroll it. Getting Enrollment Failed on the MobiControl screen on the Zebra MC930B scanner. How do I get it re-enrolled? I tried deleting it in the WebConsole and it shows back up.

Hi Jill,

how have you "cleared the data and apps" ? Because with a normal Android Reset the zebra devices just do a so called "Enterprise Reset" where the content of Zebra special folder "/enterprise" remains. The MobiControl Agent install itself there to be persistent.

Do a Zebra Factory Reset (StageNow Code or Android Recovery), then also the Enterprise folder is erased.

How is the parameter "Delete Devices after Unenrollment" in Mobicontrol set ?

And "Android - Strict Re-Enrollment" ?

Did you also checked the time/date settings of your device when trying to connect to Soti?

This could also be a problem.
