Settings Manager Bluetooth not seeing devices while scanning in lockdown

Hi,

I'm having an issue with settings manager, in AEDO environment.

It is configured to allow all options on bluetooth only.

When I scan for devices when out of lockdown, I see the list of devices found.

When I switch to user mode and scan for devices, nothing shows up, they only show up in admin mode.

I double checked all Feature control settings, settings manager settings, lockdown settings, to no avail.

I tried the latest settings manager 14.3.4, but did not help.

Server version is 13.4.5203, the agent on my test device is 13.8.1047

Device is TC56 Oreo

Have you deployed any profile with feature-control configuration payload to the device?  If so, what option(s) have been checked?

Also, have you deployed any profile with authentication payload that has  "device administrator's password" configured?

Yes and yes.

Feature control is as follow :

- Stay awake when plugged  = on

- Location = disabled

- Cell roaming = disabled

- USB debug = on

- Connection settings = disabled

- Outgoing calls = disabled

Everything else is default

Settings manager configured with all settings checked under bluetooth.

Feature control and settings manager config share the same profile.

In another profile we have admin authentication + lockdown settings (activity suppression mode, but I tried native mode and it behaved the same).

It seems the issue was related to the location set as disabled in Feature Control. Once set to GPS only, the BT scan works again under kiosk mode.

BTW, I tried the option action://CONFIGURE_BLUETOOTH or CONFIGURE_BT, but none work, would be nice to have one like that for bluetooth one day, just in case.
