Switching Wireless Networks in Lockdown Mode

RV

Zebra TC21 - Android 10 - Android Enterprise

I have my device in lockdown mode with my company's custom app as the only app running.  I enabled the notification bar to be accessed while in lockdown mode.  My issue is when I open the setting and notification bar from the top to change the current wireless network to another network.  I press and hold the Wi-Fi button to open up the list of available networks, the window with the list will open from the right side of the screen and then go disappear to the left.  It doesn't stay for enough time to choose another network.  I have Zebra TC57s that will work just fine when wanting to switch networks in lockdown mode.  Those are running Android 8.

Unfortunately, I have no Zebra TC57 device on hand to perform any test.   If the list of Wifi networks does not go away to the left when you do not have kiosk mode enabled, then maybe you should try to find out the app bundle-ID/activity name that is responsible for showing the list without the kiosk mode.  If found,  try to add it to the kiosk/kiosk-whitelist.

You could add settings manager to your lockdown and enable access to Wi-Fi.

This wound up being the solution.  Thank you.
