I'm not sure if I have ever used a script to accomplish this but if your device is enrolled as Android plus you can send a FC profile (Feature Control) to force GPS high availability.

Indeed, this feature was present on the 13 version but is there a way to force the GPS (via a FC profile) on a fully managed Android Enterprise device and on a 14.3 server ?

There is an option in MobiControl v14.x AE Feature Control profile configuration to change "location accuracy" . .

Set it to "high accuracy" to enable GPS hardware
