Wipe action not working on Samsung Galaxy A02s

I have a new Samsung Galaxy A02s that I am trying to send a wipe through to but it will not work.  I've got the correct device - I can send a soft reset, I can see when it is on or off but when I send the wipe action it just doesn't work.  I must have sent it more than 10 times now and it hasn't picked it up.

It is a fully managed device on Android 11.  The agent build is 14.5.0 Build 1011.  The event log is showing it connected to the server. I am on Mobicontrol 14.4.2.1307

Why can't I get this device to wipe?

Thanks

What  active MDM API's are reported in the configuration tab of your device agent or in the "Device Details" tab of your Samsung A02s in the web-console?

What is/are the version(s) of any Knox library found in your device's Settings->About Phone->Software Information->Knox version ?

MDM APIs are Work managed device and remote view (1.18.2.100)

I can't find any Knox information for some reason.  In software information I only have security software version which says:

VSKM v4.0 Release 20200806

ADP v3.0 Release 20191001

SMR Apr-2021 Release 1

Nothing about Knox at all.  Android security patch level is 1 April 2021 though.  Just had a look through biometrics and security as well - no mention of Knox there either.  That can't be right, can it?

Thanks

I am not surprised.  Some Samsung low-end devices ( A0x or A1x) seem to have all KNOX library removed.   As I heard, they are for low-end consumer-grade customers and not meant for enterprise-grade customers that need MDM/EMM/UEM solution.  It is then possible that some MDM function API's used by Soti MobiControl or any other MDM software are not  supported by such devices.

Rather than clicking on the "wipe" action icon/menu-item, have you tried sending any script to the device to force a wipe?

I've never sent a script before, so no.  But just looked in the help centre and had a go - that hasn't worked either, unfortunately.

Thanks
