Lockdown - status bar without activity suppression

We have activated Activity Suppression lockdown so that the status bar can be shown on screen. However we have found that doing this causes the Wi-Fi Settings option we have set up no longer works as the page immediately closes: launch://com.android.settings/com.android.settings.wifi.WifiSettings

We're not able to use the Wi-Fi settings app to set Wi-Fi due to the issues here: https://discussions.soti.net/thread/android-enterprise-lockdown-wi-fi-scan-does-not-work/

Is there any way to display the status bar without activity suppression or is there a way to allow this settings page to remain open with activity suppression enabled?

Activity Suppression is suppressing the Settings app even though you are linking directly to the WifiSettings activity. I believe if you also add a shortcut to the Settings app, and then set it to hidden through the HTML editor you should be able to launch that activity without providing the end users a way to access this full Settings. This is kind of like a bootleg "whitelist".

Alternatively, I know that Workspace One provides the ability to enable the Status bar in the Android Enterprise Kiosk mode so its possible that SOTI can expose this ability as well.

Hi Matt, I managed to add the settings to the lockdown but it didn't help unfortunately.

I have managed to work around this though. It turned out to white-list the settings I needed to add an Application Run Control setting. I just blacklisted Youtube and did not configure anything for settings and this seems to have resolved.

So it turns out this is not working still and the Wi-Fi settings close after being opened. Please let me know if there are any other suggestions for this. thanks
