error message "notification access is not available for apps in the work profile"

We have a Samsung device when we enroll to our cloud solution we see it in the console but the device shows the above.  I have tried to run the script request_appops_permission BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE

we get the error Custom log (Notification Access Permission was revoked) the Agent version is 14.4.1 and we are using 15.1 cloud online.  

We can see the device doesnt show the mobicontrol in the special apps on the device at all and for some reason we cannot accept the notifications it pops up on the device with this error so we cannot get past the screen

I suspect that your device has been enrolled into work-profile mode rather than work-managed/device-owner mode.  To confirm check the "active MDM api's "reported either in the configuration tab of your device agent or in the device-details tab associated with your device in the web-console.

Work-profile mode is meant for BYOD devices, and lacks many of the MDM features supported in the device-owner mode.   If this is really the cause of your problem, maybe you have to factory reset your device and carry out proper enrollment procedure to get it into device-owner mode.
