Moving Devices to New Groups

I'm new to the Soti platform and am trying to figure out how to assign devices to other groups.

I've got about 20 pads in a common staging folder and want to move them into individual groups.. I've uploaded a number of apps in each location folder I just can not figure out how to move the iPads from the staging group to one of the other groups... I read in the directions that I should be able to drag and drop the pads into the other groups however that does not seem to be working for me unless I am trying this in the wrong section.

These are all IOS Devices if that makes a difference

Hello Matt,

Is this what you are trying to do? Try selecting in between the name and first column to select the device to move.

Please note I refreshed my screen after moving the device, as it may be required to show the updated location of it.

Ahh... thank you! I wasn't sure if I was on the correct screen or not but I was just able to assign it to a new folder...

One other question.. can a device be in two groups at the same time?

A device can only be in one NORMAL device-group at any time.

However, it can also be in as many VIRTUAL device-groups as you want.
