CAT S41 physical buttons

Hi all,

We have few of the CAT S41 device in house. These devices have still physical buttons instead of the digital ones now days.

This is a problem when I want to remotely control the device.

I have no buttons, so I can't escape from the kiosk mode by pressing the triangel button a long time.

Any advice on how to solve this or a workaround.

Have you configured the "Remote Control Settings" of your targeted device to use the CAT S41 skin?

Ok, that did the trick, but hard to find where it was :D

Based on your MobiControl/Assist version you can:

  • send a command to your device to exit the kiosk mode
  • switch between user mode and admin mode inside the remote session
  • use the device controls inside the remote control to control the device buttons
