In my opinion 50% sounds really bad.
We see this (outside of stage now) happening on very few devices from time to time and not being reproduceable.
In that case i just delete them ao they can just re-enroll which most likely works.
But if you see it so often on your end i would recommend to raise a support case at Soti as this can be something agent<->server communication which is for some reason not working properly or a bug or so.
I would agree. This happens occassionaly in my environments. Maybe 1 out of 100? Given that it happens so infrequently and a delete and re-enroll usually solves it I've never looked too deeply into it. 50% failure rate would be especially bad.
Can you share what agent version(s) and MC version you're seeing this on? Also the OS version of the devices.
It could be an issue with newer OS devices on older MC versions. I have seen a similar issue with A13+ on MC 15.2 and older. It could be that the 50% you're seeing are devices returning from repair now running on a newer higher OS version than what you previously had deployed for the same devices.
What agent do you use?
You're downloading directly from soti's website, or you have it stored locally?
I've seen this with older versions of the mobicontrol agent. You could try to update the stagenow profile with the newer Mobicontrol agent version.

This is happening on all Android devices. Various models, agents, Os, etc. Trying to enroll 3 devices today and all are unknown. Previous cases I've logged to support just delete the device for me and I start again. They've showed me how to sync the console settings in the global settings to delete an unknown device that errors when it is deleted. Syncing removes the device without need of contacting support for every device. Currently happening on Samsung S11 and S8. I've logged another case this morning with support. Hopefully they will look more in to it and I will report back with findings.
