Disable press-hold menu popup in Lockdown

I'm configuring a Galaxy Tab A6 to only show a webpage in kiosk. I've noticed that on the lockdown menu it's possible to press and hold a text, which then prompts a menu for: Copy, Share, Select All, Web Search.

This then provides the user with plenty of opportunities to access the device settings, add various accounts, etc.

Is it possible to disable this popup menu when press and holding a text? I'm using SOTI Surf in addition to this and in there, this option is disabled and works, but the lockdown menu provides this access.

Fixed both by:

  • Adding all the apps in the Share list to the black-list under Application Run Control.
  • Setting SOTI Surf as default browser (prevents user to use Web Search).
