We have a need to change the IP address of the SOTI Mobicontrol server. It is a Windows Server 2012 and Mobicontrol ver. 11.
We only have Window Mobile devices connecting to it.

Only the IP address. Currently the Primary Agent Address for the Deployment Server is the IP address. The Secondary Agent Address is the FQDN.
What did you configure for the "Device Management Address" field with MCadmin? Local IP address, Public IP Address or FQDN?
it could be possible with a Script, but for that is it better to ask the Support.
We had used a Script to move the Scanners to a new Server.
Assuming that you intend to use the same Windows Server 2012 instance and MobiControl v11 instance, and only have its public IP address changed, and you are going to update the DNS to have the FQDN pointing to the new public IP address, then if your current MCadmin configurations are as follows:
Dev. Mem Addr = Secondary Agent Addr = FQDN
Primary Agent Addr = existing public IP address
I believe it is OK to change the Primary Agent Addr to the new public IP address, which your FQDN is also reconfigured (via an A-record) to point to.
All your devices should remain under control if you initially don't make any change in the MCadmin settings, and just have the existing Windows server public IP address re-configured and FQDN updated via an A-record in your domain-name vendor configuration interface.
As for my own customers, I always recommend them to have FQDN (with an SSL certificate from a reputable CA vendor) for both the Primary Agent Addr and Dev Management Addr. Unfortunately, your current settings are different.
As I am not from Soti, I recommend you to get an official reply from Soti support team BEFORE you go ahead workng on your production system.
