SotiMobicontrol (15.6.3.1018) Google play store no applications Android 11/13

Hi there,

we have some new devices Zebra MC9400 with Android 13 and Zebra TC58 with Android 11we see more and more when enroll devices that google play is having troubles to update. Sorry text in Dutch. I took hours before he show me some applications.

Can someone help?

Hi Marcel, 

how long do you already have this problem? 
Did you perform a check-in after assigning the app policy to the devices? 
At the moment I have the same behaviour with some of my devices. 
Sometimes a reboot is helping me. 
I am on MobiControl v2025.0.0 with most of my servers. 
I think this is a Google related issue. 

What you can try is to clear the cache of the play store with "wipeapplication".

Thanks for your reply.

i tried:

wipeapplication com.android.vending
wipeapplication com.google.android.gms

but did not work.

Then i skip install:

No apps available

took ages before i can use device.

Are you using Mobicontrol Console 2024?

And maybe also provide Zebra Enrollment Manager with managed app config?

Apps are not visible and fail to install through Play Store when Managed App configuration is enabled in Zebra Enrollment Manager. 

After removing the Enrollment Manager from the device (not assigning it to the device anymore) should help in that case or at least maybe upgrading to 2024.1.2 (did not check that myself as we still run on 2024.1.1)).

Hi Marcel,

i have the Same "issue" when i upgrade from Android 11 to Android 13.

That the Playstore is Empty but has a google work account.

Only solution was to reset the Account on the Device, then the apps appear in the Playstore.

What i can not understand.

Cause we upgrade from A11 to A13  that cause an Enterprice reset and the device will enroll them self back to MobiControl and get a for my understanding new Work account ID.

Does not matter if 2024.1.2 or 2025.0.0 with the latest Device agent installed
