Exit lockdown Pixel 5

Solved Locked

Once a Pixel 5 has entered lockdown how are you able to access the Administrator password? Normally you would hold the back button for a few seconds but there is no back button on these newer phones. To go back you have to slide your finger from one side or the other to perform the function. When you do this on a Pixel phone in lockdown it does nothing (other than the back function), the phone does not register that you are holding the back button when you hold the swipe feature.

Any suggestions?

There are at least two very siimple options that do not require any programming:

1.  If MobiControl device agent is one of your kiosk item,  just tap and launch it ,and tap and hold on the green "User" Agent Mode in the "Device Configuration" tab, and there will be prompt to input the Administrator-Mode Password.

2. If MobiControl device agent is not in your kiosk,  just add an intent kiosk item

      sendintent -a "intent:#Intent;action=net.soti.mobicontrol.admin.PASSWORD_DIALOG;i.dialog_type=1;end"

As mentioned in my post at Can We Set The Exit Lockdown Mode Password Via REST And SSL and many other discussion threads on this forum, please don't casually use device "Administrator Mode" as a way to turn off lockdown/kiosk mode because MANY OTHER deployed policies are also temporarily suspended/revoked when a device is in Administrator mode.
