Is there any way in SOTI that would set my own app as the default launcher on Android? Everytime an update on my app is performed, since the old one is deleted before the new one is installed, a prompt to choose the default launcher will pop-up and we would like that our launcher would be always the default launcher, no exeptions.
The first question to ask here is probably why your app is deleted before the new one is installed.
You can just replace the updated apk in the package category of your profile and settings should be persisting when the app gets updated.
John is right. If done properly, upgrade of apps can be done in-place such that no application data will be lost, nor will there be a need to reconfigure the app in any other way after the upgrade.

Can you please confirm how have you pushed this app to the device?
Is it via package or Application catalog or downloaded from Google Play Store?
Also, how does the update work? Do you push it from the SOTI MobiControl or it happens automatically from any other means?
