Hello mun166,

The resourse utilization is on a higher side. Could you please confirm the number of devices in your environment? Are the device update schedules staggered? Are we collecting any data from the devices frequently? Do we have any file-sync rule to transmit data/documents to the devices in regular intervals?

Thank you,

We have 2300 devices.

Where can i stagger the schedule?

where is the setting for collecting data of the devices ?

No file-Sync.

Staggering the schedules is easy.  If you haven't changed any "Update Schedule" in Advanced Settings of your devices/device-groups,  they should all be set with the same schedule time (say 8:21am every day) and a default interval of "every two hours".  Then, in principle, all devices will be scheduled to by synced to the server at AROUND 08:21, 10:21 am, 12:21, 14:21, etc. 12 times a day (Some will of course not be processed exactly at these time instant but will be queued up to be processed in the following minute(s).   To stagger, you may change some device group to update at 08:00, while others to update at 08:30, 09:00 or 09:30, while keeping the schedule interval to be 2-hour for all devices.  Then the actual updates will be distributed more evenly around multiple scheduling time instants  in the 2-hour cycle, rather than all crowded around one peak instant.

You can use the same approach to stagger the collection time/interval for data-collection rules and file-sync rules.

Hi Munn166,

Can you please confirm if @Raymond Chan's suggestion has worked as a solution.

Thanks !
