SOTI Assist Trial / Product Activation Landing Page

Hello Guys,

maybe one of you can help me out here.

Currently we only want support user to be able to watch their sites devices and manage them via groups.

All other access is blocked, so we are currently left with this:

Now the Users can still click on Soti Assist and get on the Product Activation Landing Page, since we just use it for HTML5 Remote Control right now.

Can we block this access somehow or do we just activate for test trial and then after Test License runs out there is an error shown etc. but nothing more can be done?

Yes , i activated trial myself and let it run out.

The "Product Activation" page should be related to Soti Assist.  Your MobiControl server probably haven't been properly installed and configured.  If done properly, there won't be any more "Product Activation" page when you click Soti Assist.

Customers do not need to pay extra for Soti Assist feature if they only intend to use the html5 remote control function.  I don't know if your trail server is on-premises or on the cloud.  I suggest you to contact Soti support team directly to have your server properly configured.

Hi Raymond,

we just use SotiAssist for HTML5 Remote, therefore its not activated.

As shown in the screenshot there is a link for the Soti-Assist Login Page for the normal User, but when its not activated it shows the product activation for Soti Assist, i guess.

Is this behaviour still abnormal?

I installed SotiAssist, did nothing and when navigating to https://onpremise.domain.lan/sotiassist i get redirected to the "Product Activation" which is understandable since its not activated.
