Hi

We are having issues on enrolling our devices.

As soon as we try to enroll if it stuck on the message "Enrollment in progress..."

I've tried another Enrollment ID, same issue happens.

This also happens with other devices we have.

The one thing I notice is that we have a new agent with version 15.4.4

Model: TC21

Agent version: 15.4.4

Android version 10

We still have 14 licenses left

Anything else I can try..?

I have used v15.4.4 device agents for over ten different device models in the last few weeks with no enrollment problem. onto a handful of MobiControl servers of different versions.

Have you checked the MobiControl server log files to see if there are any warning/error messages associated with the device(s) you tried to enroll?

Hi,

Can you verify the network connectivity from device to server side to confirm the device can access to the server by using related port such as 5494 and such well, or resolve the DNS if it's used only DNS on Mobicontrol Admin Utility (MCAU).

Are you trying to enroll any device that was on your Mobicontrol system earlier, or is it a new device? If it's a new device that you are trying to enroll to your Mobicontrol 1st time, is it same network with other devices on the Mobicontrol Webconsole?

You can also verify enrollment ID type is suits with the one that you are trying to enroll your device (such as it should be Android Enterprise - Work Managed, for afw#mobicontrol option).

I hope it helps. Thank you

Zafer

Hi

Thanks for the replies, I will have a look internally what could be wrong due the connection.

As soon as I tried to enroll at home, it worked fine.

Hi,

So that should be about network then. You can quickly check it out by connecting a PC to the same network that you can't enroll devices onto your environment, and do Test Net Connection from powershell

From powershell you can write such as below:

tnc your_FQDN_here(or IP address) -port 5494

example: tnc zafer.cigdem.local -port 5494

Source for SOTI network related Ports: System Requirements (soti.net)

If you see "False" as an output of the powershell; especially for 5494, 443 ports. Then enabling them should solve the issue. I hope this helps. Thank you
