Shared device unavailable

Hi all!

Any thoughts on possible causes for our devices not being able to login as a shared device with the following notification:

Login/logout ability is currently unavailable. Please make sure your device has an active internet connection.

We're using Azure AD for the accounts and the account seems to be accepted but the device stops at this notification. Internet connection is there as we are able to login to Azure AD.

Hi,

I've seen this problem when configuration with Shared Device is not properly configured or device has no internet connection.

Check, since we've covered the internet connection that's not it. As for the configuration all seems good and shared devices is configured per the documentation. So remains weird that we receive this notification. I've tried through Azure AD connected to Soti Identity and then scope the shared devices groups to Soti Identity groups and we've tried directly to Azure AD by adding it as IdP within mobicontrol. Neither of them work.

Hi Melvin,

did you manage to solve this? I'm seeing similar error on our instance that is connected to Azure AD with IdP connection.
Shared device should be properly configured but device shows this when trying to authenticate.

Connection to Azure seem to work, since I see our company logo on authentication page.

Mobicontrol cloud server is 15.3

Similarly set up Shared device on our test Azure environment gives "Internal error 500" on the device. Also this setup recognize the Azure IdP connection and user authentication seems correct.
