Hello, Is there anyway to disable this prompt in MobiControl? I don't want to use the Accessibility service for remote control. I have the OEM plugin installed and if I enable the accessibility service I'm no longer able to type anymore. Thanks, John
Hi Community, I have a on premise server with 14.1.8 and my devices have the agent version 14.1.6.We want to use the remote control via plugin. We are using MC92 with WinCE. In the past it worked without any issues. Now if we want to use it the process starts but the remote control don´t appear. You can see the process in the task manager. I already tried:- closing the process in task manager but then I am asked to install the plugin again. - to do a new installation. - to start the process out of the folder C:\Users\*servername*\AppData\Local\Apps\SOTI Remote Control- I also tried to install it into C:\Users\*servername*\ProgramFiles\SOTI Remote Control Do you have any other ideas what I can do? We don´t have SOTI Assist installed on this server. Thanks for your help!

With android 11 on Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 units an app that we previously used to auto answer and to auto turn on speaker phone no longer works in turning on speaker phone. I haven't been able to find any functioning replacements to performs this, including bixby routines. Is there a soltuion to this issue using scripts or profiles? I can't find anything in work managed profiles.
I have a profile with a package that executes certain scripts, installs an apk, and the last post install script is "reset /delay 5". That last step always executes for sure as the device reboots, but the profile never shows as "Installed" in the device details pane, only "Pending Install". The package that contains the reset command always shows as "Downloaded" and I receive an error when I try to Force Package Reinstallation. It's like the device reboots and the package never reports as complete/installed. How can I reboot the device as the last step of a package/profile and get it to update properly?
Good Morning - We got the compliance policy figured out but now what I am seeing is devices will go into a non-compliant state and device unmanaged (named) in Azure even though the SOTI never sent the message to Azure that the device is non-compliant. The only thing I am seeing in device agent log is this: 2022-05-07 15:27:35.774|pool-3-thread-4|E|DO|[net.soti.mobicontrol.conditionalaccess.h] Begin heartbeat|2022-05-07 15:27:36.912|pool-3-thread-4|E|DO|[net.soti.mobicontrol.conditionalaccess.h] Failed to update registration status, clearing saved info|com.microsoft.identity.client.exception.MsalClientException: Connection is not available to refresh token because power optimization is enabled. Hello , I want to know if SOTI MOBICONTROL is compatible with MSSQL 2019PS : our SOTI version is 14.4.8.1043 Thanks in advance.
I am looking to lock down some Samsung Tab A8 tablets to be used for training. Basically user will click a link and log into DayforceHCM do their training, then click home. I need the browser session to be disposed of so that it doesn't remember that someone is logged in (basically start new session ask for credentials etc.) THis is important because payroll information could be exposed etc. I have been unsuccessful getting this to work, anyone have suggestions?
I am currently running SOTI console 15.4.3.1012 and need to update a number of Samsung devices (SM-T575, SM-T545, SM-A515F and SM-T505N) to the latest build of Android 11. I have the devices configured to automatically download the updates through developer options but I need to find a way to install the downloaded update without having to remote onto each device individually, exit the lockdown kiosk screen and manually install the update. Is there a function within SOTI either a script or profile configuration that would allow me to install the updates in bulk?
Hello, I am using Certify the Web, a GUI tool for automatically renewing SSL certificates for free via Let's Encrypt. This is working great and it creates new SSL certificates in my Certificate Store on my Windows Server like clockwork (because of scheduled tasks). Certify The Web My only complaint is that while I can automate the renewal, I cannot automate the certificate bindings to update in the MobiControl Administration Utility under "Certificates." Is there an API call or command line utility we can use? Thanks
Hello, I have some Samsung tablets in Kiosk mode that I deploy Microsoft Word and Excel via the Managed Google Play Store. When trying to open a document that lives on the tablet (/sdcard/Documents/) for the first time, Word or Excel shows a prompt "To browse Office files, photos, and media, you'll need to allow access to all files in Settings" Not Now | Go to Settings When I press Go to Settings from within a Kiosk screen, Kiosk blocks the settings page to enable Access to all files for Word / Excel. Exiting Kiosk does allow me to enable the permissions, however a user would not be able to grant those permissions from Kiosk mode if Kiosk is blocking the prompt. I did a bit of research for granting the permissions using a Legacy script, but have not been successful. I have tried these, but none of them granted the permission to Access all files:afw_set_permission_grant_state com.microsoft.office.word android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE allowafw_set_permission_grant_state com.microsoft.office.word android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE allowafw_set_permission_grant_state com.microsoft.office.word android.permission.MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE allow Device: Samsung Tab A7 LiteAndroid 11SOTI MobiControl Agent version 15.1.5 1049SOTI MobiControl Console version 15.3 Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
