Hi,i am currently trying to remote control Google Pixel 6 with Android 13. When i try to remote control the device, a window on the device pops up and asks the end-user "Start recording or casting with SOTI MobiControl" with the option to cancel it or "start now".Is it possible to get rid of that window, so the remote control starts without this question?Soti Mobicontrol: 15.6.4.1006Soti Agent: 2024.0.5.1062
Hello, I want to check install proccess and features, but I'm getting this error: My collegue installed the newest version few days ago. From 15.6 to 2024.0.1.1020. From that point there occured some alerts in console about Search function. And missing service. I know SOTI swap logic with searching in the newest version but something is wrong with our install right now. thanks for any help
Hi There, I have a custom attribute in our SOTI instance which is "Nickname" I'm unsure wether this is a default attribute in SOTI or this was added by someone in the business in the past? I am able to use this as a search filter as a device property, as pictured. I have added another custom attribute which is "state" however but I am unable to search by this filter. See pictures below. Is it normal to not be able to search by a custom attribute? I have tried doing a search index sync since adding the "state" attribute, but no luck. Thanks, Adrien.

I have a Lockdown profile configured but have unrestricted access to the Settings app to configure WIFI, BLUETOOTH, DATA settings Now I cant find any setting that stops users from downloading APKs from the internet and installing them Can I do something in this sense?

Hi, Is there a configuration so as not to have to confirm the pairing of a Bluetooth headset during an NFC contact? Bluetooth management is authorized in the lockdown profile but each time you connect a headset, there is a window asking to confirm the connection. I would like there to be no confirmation window and the connection to be confirmed automatically.
I am looking to enrol my Android Pixel 7a's with a Corporate Personal (COPE) enrollment policy. After enrolling and testing functionality, i noted I could'nt locate the device remotely, with it always timing out. Looking at the Location permissions on the Pixel 7a itself, I can see that the SOTI Mobicontrol app has not been granted the location permission for the version of it with the little briefcase (im guessing the work profile version of it). If i manually grant it permissions, I am able to locate the device on the mobicontrol console. Surely this permissions should be granted automatically, or be requested as a part of the enrolment, which it is not. It isnt even an option to request this during setup. Anyone else come across this?
Hi, I'm a little lost with this one... I was wondering if someone could help. We use the jobwatch app (Bigchange) we have a section where it opens a hyperlink into Samsung internet to allow a customer to allow for signatures that sends straight to designated emails. I have allowed the Samsung internet app to be used inside kiosk however, the only way I can get it to work is if its on the lockdown screen on our kiosk? Is there a way to get this to work without it being on there ?
Hello, I would like to make the Bluetooth names of my devices permanently visible. Currently, I can only find them when I go into Bluetooth settings. This would be for both Zebra and Honeywell devices. Alternatively, it would also be good if it could be started manually via a script.
A customer uses an Enterprise browser solution of honewell android devices (VM1A and CK65). After an certain time, the backend will drop the user session when it's inactive for approx an hour. There are some problems with the frontend, which thinks that de session is still active. Is there a solution that we can trigger an application kill when a device hits the inactivy treshold?
I am setting up ipads for children to play games on in public libraries. I am using an App policy to push all the apps to the devices. We are locking down Internet etc so I am using a Profile, using Feature Control to disable things. We do not want passwords on the devices. The problem is when I assign the Feature Control Profile to the device without configuring Authentication in the profile it breaks Mobi Control on the device (It works fine if I add Authentiction to the profile). When you attempt to open Mobi on the device it pops up quickly saying App not configured then closes.
Hello all, We have a problem with some of our devices. For some reason they sometimes change their date & time to somewhere in 2014, as long as they are connected it's no big issue as we can just send a script to adjust the timesettings. But when the devices disconnects it can't reconnect as the time is wrong. I have manually changed another device in our test environment and when I set it to, for example 2020, it has no issues with connecting. Is there a way to change the minimum date/time on our server to allow devices to connect? We are running mobicontrol server 15.5 with android 5.1.1 devices running mobicontrol client 15.2 (zebra TC70). Kind regards, Jens
Hi everyone, on Windows if i am not mistaken we can enable/disable Microsoft Store, but i tried it today and it won't work, i enable "Enable Private Store only" on Windows Modern Feature Control and login to laptop using non-admin user, but I still can access microsoft store. Anyone know how to do it?
We've got about 1300 Android devices in our environment currently but none have them have a username attached so we don't know who each device belongs to. Is there any way to collect the username data from each device? Changing the enrollment policy won't really help since they are already enrolled.
Hello, I have copied an image into the 'Proglove' directory of my ZEBRA terminal. I have no problem displaying the image in an "Activity Supression" lockdown.I use the following item:File://mnt/sdcard/proglove/proconfig.pngBut it doesn't work if I change my lockdown type to native. Do you have any idea what is blocking in native mode?
