Hey there, I've tried for several hours now, but I cannot find a way to perform our wanted action. We would like to move devices (Zebra TC75x), where a *.xml file does exist in sdcard\download. So I only need SOTI to look for any .xml file in the specified folder and then move to the folder "XYZ". Any suggestions? Thanks very much, Greetings from Hamburg, Germany
Hi, Customer is usning TC80 AOSP 02-10-02-L-00-A with CFE10, Agent 13.6.0.1257 and MobiControl 14.2.2 (similar behavior was also on 14.2.1) with Enterprise Keyboard as default input method and when scan trigger button on handle is pressed Android shows error message "Application Enterprise Keyboard unfortunately stopped working" while in Lockdown - I've added com.symbol.mxmf.csp.enterprisekeyboard to the Lockdown that works after restart but after some time or when I unlock Lockdown as Admininstrator and then back to User mode the error keeps appeararing again. But when Ent. Keyboard is displayed (input text field selected) it works as expected .. but still shows error message on trigger press When I look to downloaded device agent activity log I can see that the package is whitelisted by Lockdown but also blacklisted?! among with other settings package in line: .. 2019-02-01 22:01:34.883|pool-2-thread-1|I|AP|[TimerPollingForcedManualBlacklistProcessor][applyProfile] - begin {[Lockdown blocked:[com.android.launcher, com.android.systemui/.recents.RecentsActivity,...com.symbol.mxmf.csp.enterprisekeyboard..., com.android.settings/.ConfirmLockGeneric], enabled:true, forcePolling:true, SamsungSoftBlocking:false]}| .. Any ideas appreciated (Whitelist feature did not help) P.S: Also another package that should run on background I've added to the Lockdown items is listed in above log as both whitelisted and blacklisted but it doesn't shows error message when trigger is pressed so possibly it just don't run sometimes.
Is it possible to setup the Samsung device with Android 8+ OS as Fully managed devices with work profile (COPE) without use of Samsung Knox container? The Google docs writes that should be available on Android 8+ devices. Is it possible to setup it on any Android 8+ device in SOTI? I can't find any information about it in documentation. Hi Can we turn off NFC on Android Enterprise devices. Running v14.1.4.1693 Samsung XCover4 Looking at the scripting options and the closest I can see is setradioenable but that only goes as far as Bluetooth. Do I have any other options?
Good afternoon, We are required to add an Office 365 email signature for all of our engineers' Android tablets and I have been asked if it is possible to do this within Soti as our engineers will have issues adding this manually! I have managed to add a html signature for myself via an Exchange Active Sync profile which mirrors the company standard, however I now need to try and make this unique by user. According to the help files the only user Macros we have are %ENROLLEDUSER_DOMAIN%, %ENROLLEDUSER_EMAIL%, %ENROLLEDUSER_UPN% and $ENROLLEDUSER_USERNAME% however I am looking for a Macro that presents the user's First Name / Surname so we can add that to the signature. I appreciate we won't be able to pull location so I am planning to possibly push out multiple Exchange profiles with a target AD Group set for each location. At the moment I think it isn't possible but I thought it would be worth the ask. I have already mentioned that it may be worth using a 3rd party application to add a signature for all users but this fell on deaf ears. Thanks, Stuart
We've been having trouble in recent weeks with enrolling new devices into Android Enterprise as a work managed device. From a factory restore state, using afw#mobicontrol, the device will enroll as AE Work Profile. We never used to have this issue, afw#mobicontrol would enroll the device as AE work managed device. The closest we've been able to get is using the Stage Programmer app and a QR code to enroll the device in MobiControl. Using this method, it will enroll as AE work managed device. However, while our profiles and packages will apply, the app catalog rules will not. We have several apps that are set as mandatory that will not automatically download. I've tried downloading manually through the MobiControl App Catalog but when I tap to install it takes me to the Play store and says that my administrator has not given you access to this item. We've done a lot of testing with our device vendor. We've tried different versions of the web console and different android OS versions. All our devices are 7.1.2 and we attempted enrolling an android 6 device with afw#mobicontrol and got the same results. Throughout our testing, the only thing we have not been able to change is the MobiControl agent version (13.6.0.1567) since that is controlled by MobiControl's deployment server. Our last deployment of devices all used agent 13.5 with no problem. This time around, with agent 13.6, we are having problems. Has anyone else experienced problems like this? Being unable to use afw#mobicontrol to enroll into AE work managed device. Or, having issue with mandatory apps not downloading to a device once we do get it enrolled as a work managed device using the stage programmer app?
Is it possible to create a report based on data collection? For example all devices having an app in the foreground at a certain date/time.

I have 3 Huawei P20 Lite smartphones with Android 8.0 and Mobicontrol Android Enterprise device agent 13.6.0 Build 1567 installed, enrolled, sucribed and connected to a Mobicontrol Deployment Server (14.2.2.1170) in a Wifi Network with dedicated 50MB internet access that have been online for two days now and still stucked in "Configuring Google Account" pending action screen. I already did all the suggested actions in one similar post, factory reseting the device, changing to a cellular network, removing the google account, adding manually de google account for Android Enterprie of my company, removing it, etc. and nothing is happening. I really do not thing this issue should be considered as solved Any suggestions?
Hello all, we work with mobicontrol on version v13.3.0.3454 We have a zebra TC 75 with mobicontrol agent on version : 13.5.0 build 1677 (android 6.0) on this device, we have one app who create a database sql lite. I'd like to encrypt file. On profile, i've found an option : file encryption I would like to know how it's works ? Because, sorry perhpas my understand is bad but as i can understand with this option (file encryption) mobiControl make the Job ? Encrypt data for us. But when i try my data is always readable ... For to do that, i create a profile add authentification with password, add file encryption -> install this profile. Run my app -> starts app -> create db sql lite i export my database sql lite with usb cable but my datas is always on clear .. Something is wrong .. thanks for all
Is there a way to run a script on an Android device and see what device permissions are needed for an app? I want to enable all the device permission to on for Soti Surf so the device isn't prompted to enable those settings. Thanks.

I have a Xiaomi Smartphone and I want to download Soti Agent (not Enterprise) Can somebody help me to download it? There is no Xiaomi Manufacturer choice on the OEM page. Can I choice another Manufacturer? It is acceptable?
Is there a way to customize the dashboard on MobiControl based on events? Or is there support for monitoring tools from other suppliers, for example PRTG? We could simply add PRTG in our network and apply auto discovery, but I was hoping to get more information in combination with MobiControl and events.
