Hello Most Android devices have an option to free up storage space by deleting unnecessary data, such as cached, residual and adverstaiment files. Is there any way to achieve this through a Mobicontrol configuration or script? Thank you for your comments
Does anyone know if it's possible to manage input devices (e.g. USB barcode scanners) on Android+ devices? I was hoping to load configuration files of a USB barcode scanner (Zebra DS8178) using the tablet it's connected on, through MobiControl. The barcode scanner comes with its own remote management tool (SMS), but that only supports Windows clients.
Hi all, First time here, thanks for the help. I am running version 12.3.0.28297 and have a question. We have a large group of TC70 Zebra devices that I am learning to manage. We push our custom config.xml file for the Enterprise browser as a package. We also push the startup menu(some html files) as a separate package. I was finished with the 40 or so devices we were using in a test group and I moved them to the "main" group. The rules for each group were identical. However, when I moved the 40 devices it broke the files for all devices in the main group. A force re-install seems to work, but has to be done individually as the rule target said they had been installed already. Can anyone tell me where I went wrong, and more importantly how I can avoid it in the future?
Hi all, I can't seem to find any option within SOTI Surf 14.1.0 Build 66 to disable and lockdown this functionality, when users are navigating our webpage. Current use case is for a customer experience solution, so we would like to avoid customer zooming in completely on the page and leaving it in that state. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Hi, Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem where they get a error "The Database is temporarily unavailable" We are on mobicontrol v14.2 and when I try to open some (not all) of our existing profiles i get the following error. Same thing happens when i try to upload APK files. Has anyone had similar issues?

I have to remote control a device. To verify the parameter I have to remove temporaly the lockdown. Is it possible to hide the password to avoid that the user see it ? Thank you
HI, We've come across an issue with configuring some out of the box Samsung X Cover 4's using the SOTI Stage Programmer tool and wondered if anyone had any ideas. Essentially up to the tool has worked well for us auto provisioning the devices VIA NFC adding the Wi-fi, downloading and installing the enterprise agent and then enrolling the device. However with the latest batch of phones we're getting the following error which we haven't seen before. "Cannot create work profile, the security policy prevents the creation of managed device because a custom OS is or has been installed on this device" We factory reset some which worked for around 5 but not for others, any ideas?

Server version is 14.18 C-five agent version is 13.6 We have no problem to sync the time on WAN connection but when the device is connected on wifi, the time is not synchronized. I think we have to configure the firewall to authorize the sync, can you please help me ? Thank you for your help
Hi An application we were asked to make available appears to have been hacked and malware has been loaded into com.android.backupconfirm. MobiControl has flagged it but it cannot uninstalled or quarantined. The offending app (OneFile) has been removed. Device is a Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2. The device has been hard rebooted, both via MobiControl command and a physical reset of the device and in both instances the malware is still embedded in com.android.backupconfirm. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, We have a number of Samsung J5 Pro's in our mobile fleet, some of which have Microsoft Exchange accounts configured in Gmail. When setting up a new device for deployment, we have been entering afw#mobicontrol as the Google account. Previously this would then install MobiControl agent version 13.5.1 Build 1273. After pushing out app packages, including Gmail, we could then add the users Exchange account in Gmail. Now however, MobiControl Agent version 13.6.0 is being installed - which seems to be blocking the addition of the Exchange account, error message "You do not have permission to perform this action. Contact your administrator...." I have seen an option whilst playing around with profiles to 'Disable the addition of Google accounts' or something similar - this is not set on the profile I am using (although I can't see that option any more under 'Feature Control' when editing the profile that is assigned to the device). I am quite new to Android for Work, any advice or help would be much appreciated. I need to be able to add Exchange accounts for some of our users. Thanks, Riley.
By default, lockscreen is enabled on TC25 devices. We dont want to manually disable it one by one. Is there a way from SOTI Mobicontrol to disable lockscreen remotely?
