Having an issue where the Datalogic OEMConfig is not pushing out the changes to our fleet of Memor10 devices. The initial enrollment grabs all the settings and works fine. After the fact if I make and scanner symbology changes the settings never seem to get pushed out. Latest was a change to the Wedge settings and same thing, settings were never pushed out.
Hello everyone, I have a problem with our device, we tried to hard reset our device without unenrolling it first, after the device was successfully reset, I tried to Unenroll the device and delete it from the dashboard but the device can't be lost from the dashboard, should I delete it directly from the database? Hi All, I have v15.2.3.1033, working with TC21 (Android 10) (a couple of TC20 (Android 8.1.0) too). I have a custom script that requires ini : var ini = require('ini'); As per https://www.soti.net/mc/help/javascriptapi/en/tutorial-commonTextDataFormats.html#INI-Support My issue is that as stated in the above, the ini extension is built into the agent, but my script run fine on some devices, but others I get the subject error. Even devices from the same enrolment rule, some work, some say Module "ini" not found. Any ideas? Thanks, Gary
I looked up the ports here - https://www.soti.net/mc/help/v14.0/en/setup/installing/network_ports.html and was unable to determine what the outbound (from device to server) port is being used to communicate during enrollment.
i WOULD LIKE TO RESET MY SCANNER TO DEFAULT SETTINGS. WHEN I DO THIS MOBICONTROL REMAINS ON THE SCANNER. PLEASE PROVIDE THE STEPS TO REMOVE MOBICONTROL ANDROID ENTERPRISE. THANK YOU.
Hi, Appreciate if someone can help me on this where i receiving a duplicate device ID only in 2 devices When PS20 device is enrolled and in console. Tried to deploy samsung tablet automatically it will kick out the ps20 and enrolled this samsung tablet which shows the same device ID. Thanks

Hi, I have a simple Android Lockdown with one app, one PDF document, and one movie file. The application have it's own icon, but the files are listed only with their names. And I mainly ask, because without icons, the Lockdown items are not alined vertikaly and horizontaly. How can I add some custom images to be used as icons for the PDF and movie file? There is a dropdown menu, but what is the source of the listed icons? And what file format/size the icons have to be?
Hello, Using file synch to upload the files (PHOENIX-M..zip and Common ES..zip) to the devices CK75 (via SOTI MobiControl) then excuting a script to upgrade the firmware. The problem is that the apps from the Common ES package will not be installed totally means some apps installed some others not. Do you have a solution for that? Thank you Amine
Dear All, We are using Mobicontrol 15.3.0.6713 and there cases of Android Devices where some apps are not updated regardless if the relevant setting is set to always update. is there any way to check / control this and also any way to force the update for all devices from time to time? Best regards
I am trying to install a pfx wifi certificate on all devices in Soti, I keep getting an error " Multiple Certificate PFX Files Not Supported" any help/advise is highly appreciated. Does that mean, I will have to go manually install the wifi certificate on all devices? I have more than 700 devices that need this certificate to be installed. Any help, advice and/or suggestions are highly appreciated.
hello, we are trying to install the lockdown menu on an samsung tablet with android 11 but i allways get the message "pending action" "please give draw over other apps permission". when i try to set the permission by pressing the message nothing happens. i tried it by script with afw_set_permission_grant_state net.soti.mobicontrol.androidwork net.soti.mobicontrol.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW allow afw_set_permission_grant_state net.soti.mobicontrol.androidwork android.permission.DRAW_OVER_PERMISSION allow no effect. i changed the parameters in the add device rule.... no effect. any idea ? thx mark
Hello, I'm having trouble entering admin mode on most of my devices. I have a lock down profile applied and when I go to enter admin mode, MobiControl with just show a prompt that says "Switching to admin mode" and will never exit. The only way I can get out of lock down mode is by sending commands from the web console. However, I would like to be able to do this from the device, because sometimes I need to make changes on the fly and don't always have a computer with me. Has anyone came across this issue before? If so, how did you fix it? I have listed my MobiControl version and device's information below. MobiControl Version: 15.3.0.6713 Device Information Model: Zebra VC80x Operating System: Android 8.0.1 Build: 02-32-04.00-OG-U20-STD (GMS) MobiControl Agent Version: 14.5.4 Build 1016 (Android Enterprise) Plugin Version: 1.6.0.102 Mode: Work Managed Device (Device Owner) MobiControl has all permissions enabled.
Hello, I was looking for information about the campatibility of (Android Enterprise) device agent with Mobicontrol servers. I can't find this in the release notes of agents or Mobicontrol. Is this information available? Are newer client always fully compatible with older Mobicontrol servers? F.e.: When I using Mobicontrol v15.1 and want to upgrade to v15.3, is it good pratice to first update the agents on my clients, so that after the Mobicontrol upgrade the device are compatible with the server? Is there a report I can run from within MobiControl, that will tell me what Bluetooth Pairings are on each device? Devices running Android 8 Would like to know if the device has made a pairing and the name of the paired device.
