Hello everyone,

I have a problem with our device, we tried to hard reset our device without
unenrolling it first, after the device was successfully reset,
I tried to Unenroll the device and delete it from the dashboard but the device
can't be lost from the dashboard, should I delete it directly from the database?

Regard,

Carmadi

I had a similar issue last week - when trying to delete an unenrolled device from the web-console, it always kept appearing after refreshing the web-consolse.

To get rid of it I had to sync MobiControl Search Index with MobiControl database (Global settings -> Console settings -> Search index sync -> Sync now).

What are the version and build numbers of your MobiControl server? Is it an on-premises or a cloud server?

If you had selected the target device and tried the "delete" action with failure in your web-console,  could you please try again and show screenshot of any  error/warning message on the device log tab?  Is it possible that you tried the delete action with a MobiControl administrator account that had no related global/per-group permission(s)?

If there are bugs with the web-console such that a device cannot be deleted with the web-console, it is OK to remove the device by directly manipulating table(s) in your MobiControl database.  As there might be differences in schema between different MC database versions and incorrectly maniupulating database table(s) can potentially crash you system in the worst case,  I always suggest my customer to open an official support ticket to get explicit instruction on what and how to modify the database.
