Hi I was looking to run MS Teams in a browser due to a missing feature in the Android app. However, it will only load if desktop mode is switched on in Chrome. Is it possible to launch a MobiControl lockdown shortcut and force on Chrome desktop mode? Thanks
Hello, I use afw#mobicontrol for enrollment on Samsung device with Entreprise Android and reactivate only few samsung App. I have a lot of new device to enroll, using the QR code of Stage programmer looked good but when i use a QR code i obtain a different result, the device keep all core app. There is a way for enrollment with QR code give same result than afw#mobicontrol ? Thanks.
Hi everybody, I have MobiControl 15.2 installed on a Windows2016 server. I am receiving thew following error when opening the Manage Android and Plugins window from Global Settings: Failed to load manufacturers or no coimpatible agents found. Same error is displayed if I click OK on the error window and move to Plugins tab. Do you have any idea why I am receiving this? Thank you very much for your help in advance!
Hi All, We are trying to deploy a datawedge profile (dwprofile_MSCA.db) using a package in SOTI on a Zebra MC330x device running Android 10. Deploying it through a package has worked successfully and the dwprofile_MSCA.db file has succesfully imported to the correct folder: /enterprise/device/settings/datawedge/autoimport/dwprofile_MSCA.db Once the file has been pushed to the folder location above using SOTI, we are seeing no change within the Datawedge app in the device. We have tried to reboot as well but not seeing any changes once the device is back online. We have had to click the options menu in datawedge (top right buttons) and manually import the profile from the autoimport folder on each of the devices so far. After doing this we can see the MSCA profile within the menu and it is working fine. I have also tried a script that I found online to push the dwprofile_MSCA.db file once it is on the device but had no joy. The script was the one given on the Zebra website, __chmod 777 /enterprise/device/settings/datawedge/autoimport/dwprofile_MSCA.db Again after executing the script, no changes are seen in the datawedge app until I manually import it. Please advise on the path forward to automate this as we only have another few weeks before we are going to be rolling out the remainder of the devices and this method of manually having to import in the datawedge application is not feasible for such a large amount of devices. Hi, We have problem that when we try to sync applications on from any enterprise binding we get 'Internal Server Error'. This happens everytime i try to sync approved applications. If i make new binding it will work for a while (aprox 1day), but stops working after a while. Any ideas how to solve this? We are running version 15.2.2.1080 Thanks in advance! /Jaakko
Hello,I want to uninstall SOTI MobiControl on some devices (Galaxy Tab A7), I don't want to have to factory reset those devices. Is there any way to uninstall SOTI MobiControl without losing installed apps, or current system configurations (wifi, bluetooth, font ...) on those devices?Many thanks!
Hi, I need open a web page in lockdown, I done it using Http://myurl. The page is open in Kiosk mode (fine !!) but unfortunately the refresh page (Function keys F5) doesn't work. I have enrolled my device (Honeywell VM1 Android) with Android+, tested with Android Enterprise. the same issue happen using Soti Surf anyone has facing and fixed this issue. Thanks to all. Hi everybody, I have two Zebra MC3300 (one the two is a long range one) enrolled to a SOTI Mobicontrol console version 15.2. Both the two devices have Android Oreo with latest LifeGuards released. I am observing a very strange behavior when I remote control the devices. In case the device is not used for a while (actually impossible to determine how much time) I am no longer able to use the bottom of the device display remotely, like for example, it's not possible to use the back button or to swipe up the bottom task to display the back button. I have enrolled the devices with StageNow by using GoogleMobiControl1443_1074.apk and I added the MDMPlugin_Notification package (with Zebra_Hawkeye_RC_AE_1.6.0.102.pcg file) in the profile linked to the enrollment rule. Did anybody of you see the same behavior or have any idea on how to fix this? Thanks a lot for your help! Have you all a great day.
Hello, ---------- MC Version : 15.2 Device Platform OS : Android 7.1 Device Management Type : AE / DO ---------- We would like to deploy and configure a Per-App VPN on our managed devices, ideally through the Cisco AnyConnect app. The goal is to be able to specify which applications should connect through the VPN. We would like that the process is transparent to the user. The user launches the application, the application opens a VPN connection. When the user closes the application, the VPN connection is disconnected. We have configure an App Catalog rule in order to deploy the app via a Managed Play Store and we have set the Application Type to "Mandatory". The App Configuration let us specify which apps have to be tunneled. Problem is that this App Configuration does not allow us to specify a username, a password and a group, only the host can be specified. Do you have an idea so that we can implement this solution? Does anyone use Cisco AnyConnect? Many thanks for your help and advice ! BR
Hello everybody, I have now dealt with the Android Lockdown notifications and what can I say it works.The Icon on the lockdown screen has nas a red number in the upper right corner.But unfortunately it is not what I wish for! I would like a large pop-up window with the notification pop up or bring me directly to the dialog box. According to a colleague of mine, he has already done it before but he no longer knows how. Its a Android Plus Device with Mobicontrol Agent 14.4.2 and Android 5.1
We have a TC25B OS Version 8.1.0 i did manage to install and run agent ver 14.4.2.1039. After a reset i can install it, but it wont run with an error message This device agent is incompatible with your device. Please contact your administrator.
Hello colleagues. I have the following case. I have a Samsung S20 and I have an activated "Antivirus" profile. After last update on android, SOTI catches com.android.wifi.resources that it is Malawere and tries to delete it, therefore android does not allow to delete the main process of system. A continuous cycle is obtained, from which there is no way out. I want the problem to be solved without introducing a factory reset device. If I try to remove the policies - they will stand with the status Waiting and nothing happens.
