Hi, Struggling to figure this out. I have added a file to a content library Created a policy exposing specific devices to it. Installed Soti Hub to the device Added Soti Hub on the lockdown screen I can't seem to see where to add the content library to the hub, or it's certainly not obvious. I see there's an option for adding a repo to the hub but there doesn't seem to be a 'native' content library option. Nigel
I'm having trouble understanding how all these settings interact in my setup. Is there a tutorial that explains this clearly with examples? Here's what I've done so far: In my profile's options, I've set an Install Date for today at 2:50 PM (it's now 3:07 PM). The execution time is set to Device time. I've also set a Custom Package Installation Schedule: Weekdays from 7:00 AM to 11:30 PM (UTC), with execution time also set to Device time. Since we're 5 hours behind UTC, the Install Date should fall within the scheduled time frame. However, the TC52x scanner is still showing "Pending Installation." Am I missing something? I'm trying to test the installation of a single APK payload within a specific time window. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Recently we have had a number of issues installing the Omnitracs XRS application on our TC57 Android 13 devices. Back in July, we were forced to go to package-based deployment of the app due to a weird error when deploying it using the built in App Policy method (Enterprise APK upload). I have attached screenshots showcasing this issue as well as the device logs. Once we went to package-based deployment, now we are having a strange issue where the application does install properly, but randomly it will disappear on devices and need a reinstall. We have had 5 or more of these occur each week over the past few months. I am not sure if this is related to deploying the app as a package or not. I have heard some things about Google Play Protect possibly being the culprit, but no way to know as of right now. 1. Is there any way to get the App Policy to work again or is this a known issue? This doesn't seem to be an issue with Google as the device is clearly showing an error even when attempting to install it. 2. Is there any reason why deploying this app as a package would cause random uninstalls to occur?
Hello all!I have a question regarding settings in Chrome browser when using it via SOTI and managed play apps.I have tried to edit my settings via Apps policies and Browsers in the Profile, what i need is to get the "translate" suggestion removed. The settings that i have tried is the "Enforce Translate Mode" and also the settings "Enable Translate"Both of these settings are turned off and i have tried to turn them on but no changes in the Chrome browser.Any ideas on how to remove this? Would the easiest to just have the default language set to English? The default language is set to Swedish on the device, its a Honeywell CT65 running Android 11.

Hi,While I can add any app from the Play Store to lockout mode in Soti, I’m wondering if there’s a way to include the Play Store itself on the lockdown page in Soti Mobicontrol.
Hi All, I've created a package, which i would like to push to devices on a scheduled date and time.I wasn't able to see any options for this within Soti Mobicontrol.Does anyone have experience with this and maybe knows how to help me get going?

I am using Package Studio. I created a new package project, added the Proglove Insight Mobile app apk file, added the proglove.proconfig and told it where I wanted to place the file, and then added a post install cmd to enable the keyboard that comes with the app. The app itself installs with no issue but I think its failing when its trying to copy the config file to the app folder. %sdcard%\Android\data\de.proglove.connect\files\proglove.proconfig
Hi I've been trying to find a proper APK file for my latest devices within SOTI. We've been using an APK file with version "2.2.41" for a long time now. Now, we have some Samsung SM-X210's around with android version 14 on. When I try to login on these I receive an error message its not compatible with my device and in the end I get error 701 when trying to login within outlook application. I tried to look for a higher APK version.. but whatever i'm trying to upload... it fails. Version: 4.2429.1 (62429819) error message in SOTI; Invalid application file format. Verify the integrity of the application file. Does someone have a proper APK file around that I could use and upload? Thank you! Best regards
We have 160 Android devices that use Google Maps. We would love the ability to share Google Maps favorites with each tablet. Has anyone ever done anything like this before? The problem is signing into the same account on 160 devices doesn't sound like the best idea. We don't use Google Managed accounts either. Just trying to brainstorm how we would make this happen.

Hi, Is it possible to turn off Android Fully Managed device in Single App User mode from device side? How?
Hello, I'm running into a strange issue where opening a standard web link URL from a kiosk lockdown in SOTI Surf results in the error "Check your browser's privacy settings to use camera". This is on Android Zebra TC56J on OS 8.1.0 and agent version 2024.1.4.1149. SOTI server is 2024.0.0.1075 on premises. Anyway, I have added all instances of any installed camera apps to the lockdown screen (just not in the XML layout so they don't show as shortcuts) in addition to SOTI Surf itself. The site and all subdomains of it are whitelisted. I cannot find any setting that would prevent the camera from working. Does anyone have some ideas to check? Thanks! All camera apps and surf added to home screen:
Hi, We have a mix of Android versions and I and would like to get all devices up to at least A11, starting to get A13 on devices returned from repair. We have been doing updates patching Firmware levels using FileSync and then a script to send the install_system_update command. So, what I am trying to confirm is if I can go from 8.1.0 directly to A11, or do I need to go to A10 first. I don't want the MC9300's to be factory reset. Versions we have currently: Android 8.1 patch version: 01-30-04.00-OG-U15-STD Android 10 patch version: 10-16-10.00-QG-U141-STD-HEL-04 Android 11 patch version: 11-39-27.00-RG-U00-STD-HEL-04 If we need to go from 8.1 to 10 do I need to install the latest 8.1 Lifeguard (U46) first and I have been told by one person that a special package is required, or do we just install the base 10-16-10 and then install Lifeguard 141? I assume the upgrade from A10 to A11 is to push the A11 Full Upgrade to the device and run it using a manual script? Thanks in advance. Andy
