I have over 100 Honeywell devices that have static IP addresses and usernames and password credentials to connect to an SSID and authenticate. Each device has its own device config.xml created in Honeywell's EZConfig Editor Is there a way of sending the correct XML for the device based on either a serial number or Mac Address without setting up individual profiles for each device?
I have had a search through the community post and can't find anything. Is there a way to save password in Soti Surf?
Hi! I wanted to find out how other companies work with WIFI certificates. In our company, the global IT management requires that each device has its own/individual wifi certificate which is names as the device. This would ensure that the devices could be clearly assigned in the various security tools, which supposedly doesn't work so well if they all have the same certificate name. We have an AD account configured via the Certificate Authority. This account issues the certificates for the device.This must be exported and assigned to the user object in AD. This means a lot of manual effort.In addition, the personal certificate must then be selected in the Wifi Settings, because it is called differently for each device and therefore cannot be selected automatically. I can't imagine that other companies also use this variant because it is far too laborious. I would like to hear what you think of the configuration and the procedure and even more, how you handle it? Best regards Maik
Hi, I'm having problems deleteing custom data. I open open group details --> configurations tab --> Custom Data There I can enable or disable Custom Definitions.When I trie to delete it (hamburger menu or the garbage bin), I get the message:"Custom Data with name xxxx already in use" Is there another procedure te delete this or any tips? I just found a very bad translation error on the permissions dialog in the MobiControl web console. In English it says "allow" and "deny" on the column headers, but when the console is running on german translation [Deutsch (Deutschland)] the headers say "löschen" and "deutsche" "Löschen" means "delete", so this is completely wrong verb and could be misunderstood with rather "disallow a permission". The second header "Deutsche" means "german", so does not make any sense it must be an error in the translation file. Usually permissions would be translated with "erlauben" (allow) and "verweigern" (deny).
Mobicontrol can display name from login shared-device with active directory. Example shared-device login with user "Jonhev@test.co" on lockdown can show display name "Jonh even" ?
Good Afternoon, I would like to know why an input data list doesn't actually work correctly and if there is a fix it as it's important for our applications that will be used by our employees on SOTI Surf. HelloWe have new zebra TC26 devices running android 11 with mobicontrol 15.3.3.1065 agent 15.1.3.1071. We are having issue with remote control of the devices. If device lockscreen is active RC is view only. After user unlocks screen we can access .devices.with RC. added screenshot of the screen.
Hi everyone does anyone know how to change the lock screen background image and wallpaper on Samsung TAB A's ? i know there are no settings in soti to do this so i've been trying to do it with scripts and file sync using file sync to copy the jpg to the device, then running this script: set_wallpaper %sdcard%\wallpaper1.jpg works on android 9 & 10 devices but not on android 11 file copies ok on android 11 but the script does nothing any help would be greatly appreciated
Hello, We notice a decrease in the battery life of our MC3300 (Oreo) and MC33X (Android10) when we use SOTI Surf. The standby time of the terminals is set to 30min. My customer tells me that the batteries have a life of less than 4 hours.Have you ever noticed a similar problem? Sincerely
Hi, I am trying to come up with a method to identify whether a specific file is present on a fleet of Honeywell CT60 Android Enterprise devices running Android 9. I need to be able to identify which devices have the file using a Log Information Report (or similar).I was hoping that the solution would be to run a legacy script along the lines of:if exist "/sdcard/Android/data/com.vendor.myapp/files/LogonData.ini" echo "LogonData.ini exists"but this returns the error 'Script command is not supported by device (if).'A directory listing like the ls command with output sent to the logs would also be ideal.Any suggestions would be gratefully received, thank you.

Through launch:// , I want to add android VPN setting ( setting> More>VPN) i tried the same method i used on wifi and bluetooth but it doesnot work i get this message (activity not found). appreciate any help.
