Hi community We encounter an issue with Mobicontrol console. Drag and drop of devices is not anymore possible since upgrade from 14.1 to 14.5. Any idea ? thx steve
I have a new Samsung Galaxy A02s that I am trying to send a wipe through to but it will not work. I've got the correct device - I can send a soft reset, I can see when it is on or off but when I send the wipe action it just doesn't work. I must have sent it more than 10 times now and it hasn't picked it up. It is a fully managed device on Android 11. The agent build is 14.5.0 Build 1011. The event log is showing it connected to the server. I am on Mobicontrol 14.4.2.1307 Why can't I get this device to wipe? Thanks

Hi all, After installing the latest windows updates and restarting the Server, the MobiControl Search Service couldn´t be started anymore because "the host refused the connection". After reinstalling the same version of MobiControl the MobiControl Search Service starts properly, but our devices cant keep up the connection to our server. In the device logs it says, that every device do connect to the server, but cant even keep it up for a second (this happens every 10 sec for all devices): Furthermore we are not able to enroll new devices, kinda bad because we got some new iPhones for our employees and they cant enroll them... MobiControl Version: 15.3.1.1151 OS: Microsoft Server 2019 MS SQL Version: 15.0.4123.1 Devices: iOS14 +, Android 4.4.4 and 9, WindowsCE6 and 7
I am looking for a way to forget a device's wifi networks. (clear them). Do any scripts exist to help out with this? the other possible solution would be a script to reset network settings on the device. If someone knows of any helpful scripts please let me know!
We are starting to deploy Samsung Tab Active 3's with Android 10 out. and have found that when you soft reset the device from SOTI, or the device gets rebooted. it does not connect to SOTI. This is because even though the device has powered back up, it is not until someone unlocks it that you get the message Android is Starting and then MobiControl agent starts and connects to SOTIHas anyone else seen this or knows of how to get around it. I am just concerned that if the device needs to be restarted for any reason it we will not be able to control it or do anything until a user unlocks it
I have been trying to update Life Guard on Zebra MC3390R through SOTI. I have searched the forum and none of the suggestions work. I followed this document from Zebra and it does not work either, https://supportcommunity.zebra.com/s/article/Perform-an-OS-Update-using-StageNow-Tool-or-SOTI-MobiControl?language=en_US. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
was wondering if there was any information (e.g. log entry, device details parameter, ...) to confirm a device has been successfully wiped? I have been testing, the log reporting: Wipe requested Device un-enrolled by admin Custom log (Wipe command received) Device disconnected As far as I can tell, device disconnected, refers to the connection between the agent on the device and the mobicontrol instance (in my case cloud). I am also searching for the device using the REST API and the returned json isn't detailing anything I have been able to attribute to wiping. TIA Adam
We are brand new to Soti and wondering if there is a way to automatically populate the Windows Device Name of a Laptop in the Soti MobiControl (Device Name)Right now every new laptop we add just shows up as Windows 1, Windows 2, Windows 3, etc.Seeing the laptops have a Device Name set, can't Soti populate those in MobiControl?At the moment we have to manually rename each Windows 1, Windows 2, Windows 3 laptop in MobiControl to match the Windows Device Name.Suggestions are welcome.Thanks!

Hi, we have customized zebra enterprise keyboard (name.encrypted) This file was copied via MobiControl to /enterprise/device/settings/ekb/config EKB was configured as default keyboard manually but customized keyboard wasn't changed. There's only basic enterprise keyboard. Do you know where could be the problem or what we can change? Zebra TC52, Android Enterprise, Android 8.1 EKB with last version 3.9.1. Thanks
Hi, From the global settings/Manage Android Agents and Plugins menu I have upgraded the Android Enterprise agent to "latest version" in order to update "local Version" the old versions of the agent are not supported anymore and SOTI imposes me the update on my terminals.I can't do a rollback. I would like to make the old agent versions compatible. With a "Local Version" older than "Lastest Version".I tried to remove this agent from "Global settings / Site Name / Shared File Brower" and import an older agent, but without success, impossible to choose the previously imported apk. Does anyone have an idea? Soti version 14.4
I've got some Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (SM-T295) devices running Android 10 and enrolled via AE. They are constantly making background notification noises, which I believe is coming to from the Google Play Store. Does anyone know of a way to disable notifications on a per app basis via a script that i can send to the devices?
I have Samsung tablets on android enterprise that have the google drive app pushed via packages and included in kiosk mode but will not open. It will open for a second but will then close itself. If I leave the lockdown and try to run it manually it says that "this action is disabled by mobicontrol. contact your organization's administrator to learn more." I don't have any feature control enable nor do I have application run control enable. Specs: Galaxy tab A 2019 Android 10 Agent: 14.5.1 Build 1074
We are currently planning on moving from older Android devices to newer ones, but I have trouble enrolling the new devices. The old enrollement QR-code does not work (it cannot apply settings), and I have not been successfull with any of my other attempts either. Bacground information: We are running SOTI version 15.2, which should support Android for up to version 10. The device I'm trying to enroll is Samsung Xcover pro 10. I have created an enrollment profile for it, similar to that of our older Android devices had. I receive the enrollment ID and URL fine, but neither of them work when I input them to Mobicontrol Stage. If I input the Enrollment ID, the device says that my enrollment failed. If I try the enrollment URL instead, it says Invalid URL. If I enter the server address directly, the enrollment proceeds, but I receive the following message: "Please provide the following additional information to continue enrollment". The windows is as follows: I have no idea what shoud I insert there. I'm sorry for potentially uneducated question, I'm quite new to this. Any help would be much appreciated.
