Hi We are trying to use SOTI to push the Oracle "Mobile Supply Chain for EBS" application to Zebra MC3300 devices. The APK gets loaded okay, however we then need to manually go and set the server address on each device for the application. Given we have a couple of hundred guns this is not very optimum. We have looked at the options in SOTI but it doesnt seem to expose the server URL so that we can configure it before we push down the application. Oracle help file suggests the follwoing: "To preconfigure the server URL, administrators need to configure the following String type properties in an EMM console to simplify the app deployment for users:Note: This feature has been tested and certified only on iOS devices. To leverage this feature on Android devices, it is required to register your EMM provider with Google Play. Server_URL: This is the Oracle E-Business Suite server URL that an app should connect to by default. If a valid Oracle E-Business Suite server URL is entered in this property, the app users will not be prompted to enter the server URL when the app is launched for the first time. Ensure that the mobile app is already "Enabled" in the Mobile Applications Manager UI pages. For information on enabling an app, see Enabling a Mobile App Individually and Specifying the Configuration Through the UI Pages." anyone have any pointers on what to do here ?
Hi I wonder if you can help me we have been using custom data on Samsung Xcovers to display information about out app in soti for about 12 months with no issue however around 4pm yesterday the custom data stopped displaying within the fields on the portal. When i look at the logs there is the following error message. Error message received from device (Failed to parse XML file(SAXException) /storage/emulated/0/Documents/XXXXXXX.xml (filename masked)
Hello, I'm looking for a way to call a legacy script command from within a post-sync script using javascript. We have a need to change the IP address of the SOTI Mobicontrol server. It is a Windows Server 2012 and Mobicontrol ver. 11. We only have Window Mobile devices connecting to it.
Dear All! Anyone knows a way I can delay the package upgrade on android devices? If I switch the package in the profile, it kills the app and updates the software. Any script/solution that waits for the app to close before updating it? thanks

Hi I'm having an issue with the Microsoft Edge App in SOTIs Lockdown in native mode. As long as we do not sign in with a company sign in it works fine. But when we sign in with a o365 company/school account in edge it starts and then goes back to the lockdown screen. I've tried the identify_activity command scrips but it shows no ordinary programs running.

Hello, When adding Ipad devices to our soti environment we make sure we select the passcode option in the Apple Device enrollment Program options, present in the device enrollment rule. When we start up the device for the first time, it asks to set up a pin code. After a reboot, certain devices still ask for the PIN, some other devices no longer require the PIN to start and only a swipe unlocks the iPad. Any config we missed? Thanks
Good Morning, Did SOTI extend the time to upgrade for the APNS? This morning I logged into Mobi Control and SOTI pushed me this message: " Attention: iOS Users Are you aware that you need to upgrade your MobiControl Server to the latest V14 or V15 by March 31, 2021 to support Apple’s APNS requirements ? If you do not do the upgrade, you will not be able to remotely manage your iOS devices after March 31, 2021. For further information and assistance, please call SOTI Technical Support Team or via support@soti.net Now I see a thread on here (4 weeks ago) That says Nov 1, 2020. Hello all, i work with mobicontrol on version v 13.3.03454 and device zebra tc75x under android 7. the mobicontrol agent is on version 13.6.1476 enroll under android + I have some strange situation ... I have some device with a lockdown and 6 urls on this lockdown each url open a web page from SAP (chrome browser), where user need to enter their credentials before to work. On some device, same brand, os version, patch version there is no error. But I have some others device, where when user try to validate their login information we receive this error message -> connexion cookie check failed ! that's stange, because if i try to remove the lockdown (send script kiosk off) and open url in chrome , enter credetials it's works ! someone has an idea about what's happen and how i can resolve this ? I can"t understand .. thanks
Hello , I want to run a script from the lockdown page on a windows CE device. I want to start velocityCE in that script when it is installed : if exist "\Program Files\Wavelink\VelocityCE\VelocityCE.exe"start "\System\Wavelink\VelocityCE\VelocityCE.exe" When it is not installed i want to wait ( installation of a package ) and put a message box on screen, telling them to wait for 60 seconds. Any idea how to script that ? Many thanks
Hi I have a strange issue with the SOTI settings app and Android 10 on a Samsung Tab A. When running in lockdown mode in native mode and a lockdown template, the access grant windows does not show up. If I run in Activity Suppression it pops up. I can't figure out what app I need to Add Home Screen Items, to get this to work in native mode.
Sent a query to SOTI support if more macros were supported to be used in lockdown screen templates than the ones published on the link below. They got back that they were the only ones. Macros in SOTI MobiControl They pointed me to a possible suggestion of utilizing "Custom Attributes" but not sure how I could realize what I wish to achieve with that. Hardware used is both Honeywell & Zebra. For example I've gotten requests to present the OEM version and OS version on the lockdown template for maintenance purposes. Would make life much easier when you do not have access to MobiControl when checking devices on the floor. - Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful if I can resolve it when utilizing the Lockdown templates from SOTI.
