SSL Handshake failed

Factory resetting Android tablet with afw#mobicontrol and get the "SSL Handshake Failed" error after entering the enrollment ID. "The cert for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a website that is pretending to be....."  We access our deployment server via the cloud.

Thanks for posting your concern.

Please confirm, if this is the first Android OS 10 device you are trying to enroll?

As your server is hosted on cloud, I would request you to raise a support case(click here) or call SOTI Support team(click here) to ensure the required certificates are bound to the server.

If your devices are running Android 10 like DDMOD said you need to create a SHA256 certificate on MobiControl. You need to work for a time with SHA1 and SHA2 certificate to every device learn all certificates.

To perfom this action contact the support for a better experience and solve it.

Hi,

i had the Same Problem too with Android Devices.

I have added the Server Certificate what i use for the "Web Console" into the Root Certificate Management.

Then i do not geht this Exxor message during enrolling.

The Certificat for the Webside is that it is Trusted in the Webbroweser, and it is a SHA2.
