I'm not seeing any applications and profiles on an enrolled MobiControl BYOD iOS device. When opening App Catalog or Profile Catalog, it gets redirected to Safari browser with an error message that Safari cannot open the page because the server cannot be found. Should I be able to see iOS applications and profile in the applications? Thanks,
With MobiControl is there a way to create an enrollment policy or a profile which would block the enrollment of jail-broken devices (Android and iOS)? Thanks,

HI, We are using Soti MobiControl (14.4.4.1045) to manage our M3 devices (SM10 and SM15). We install the Software over Soti (android plus). Now we try to test the new M3SL10 device. We Install the device the same way as the other M3 devices. We also use the same software profiles. The Agent connected with the Soti Server and we can manage the device in Soti. The problem we have is that the Installation of the profiles didn’t start. The status of the profiles is “Pending Install”.
Hi, currently I'm using a lockdown screen (with #apps) on my devices ...1) Is there any way of having a login authentication screen prior entering the lockdown screen ? This could help identifying which user is using which device ... 2) in addition (if question 1 is possible), is there a way of having SSO for underlaying apps (on the lockdown screen) which can handle AD (oAuth, Ldap ...) any help would be welcome !
I have a MobileDemand A1180 tablet running Android 9. When I try to remote into this tablet I get "Waiting for Screen" on legacy and just a blank screen on the web viewer. I have already tried the solution posted in this tread (https://discussions.soti.net/thread/android-9-0-stuck-on-waiting-for-screen-when-remoting-in/) but no luck. There is also another thread on this issue but it has no solution other than update your agent. I had this issue with SOTI V14.2, running Agent 14.1.7 and MobileDemand plugin version 1.16.10.121 This morning I upgraded to SOTI V15.1, updated the agent to 14.2.0.1069 and I am still having this issue. The tablet doe not prompt me for permission, and I even have the permission to remote in without permissions. Not sure what is causing this.
I have devices that live behind very restricted firewalls - no traffic other than what is explicitly allowed. What is the FULL set of IPs that need to be whitelisted for Mobicontrol to work. I have looked at this page: https://www.soti.net/mc/help/v14.0/en/setup/installing/soti_services.html but when looking at the firewall traffic I don't see any of those addresses at all in my logs. I see some traffic from 34.216.251.194 that appears to belong to SOTI, but I need a full and accurate list. Thanks
Hello, For testing purposes I have to install a v13.3.0.3851, do some tests on it and then upgrade the MC version to the v14.4.9.1034. Problem : I have the following error message from the MC Admin tool when I want to make / save changes : Also, I am unable to manually launch the SOTI MobiControl Deployment Server service : Question : Does mobicontrol version v13.3.0.3851 can work on a Windows Server 2016 ? Or does it only work on the following OS : Windows 7 (Browser-based remote control not supported.)Windows 8Windows Server 2008 R2 (Browser-based remote control not supported.)Windows Server 2012Windows Server 2012 R2Windows 10 Many thanks.
Hello SOTI-community, we have several hundred Honeywell CT 60 devices which are running a self-developed app. I would like to use the lockdown mode (Android Plus) to only let the colleagues access this very app. Unfortunately, when we roll out updates, there are two settings-popups which the users will have to manually allow and set (battery optimization and system settings access), because they can't be set via script. Since that is the case, I have to have the Settings enabled in lockdown mode as well (or the device will deadlock itself, because its awaiting input (allowing of permissions) the user is not able to give). Is it possible to have the settings enabled, but the shortcut hidden (so the users can't access the settings, but deal with the popups)? Or is there an option to allow battery optimization and system settings access via script? (I have already opened a SOTI helpdesk ticket, but we couldn't manage to get it done) Any help would be much appreciated. BR Dahin
Hi, I want to move our only SotiMobicontrol server to another Windows server. Are all data, profiles and packages saved in the database?
We were hoping to use Custom Data for targeting our profiles to the devices. We are currently using Zebra TC57 and Casio IT-G400 devices. I have no issues reading the %sdcard%Settings.ini on a Zebra device, however the Casio doesn't seem to use this location. In the file manager I can see a sdcard folder, but it seems to reside under /internal storage/ . How would I go about finding a location for the settings file that will be available on both devices? Do you have a list of locations I can target using a macro, as I only know of %sdcard% at the moment?
