How can I add the device serial number to the lock screen. Currently using Honeywell CT40 in lock down mode and would like the serial number dispalyed in header.

I can install the Enrollment Profile without issue, but when I go to actually enroll a MacOS Catalina device I get this error. I've tried it on three different systems so far today and all give the same error. It says: Profile Installation Failed. The profile "MobiControl Device Enrollment (net.soti.mobicontro.enrollment.phase1:uuid-here)" could not be installed due to an unexpected error. <NSCocoaErrorDomain:3840>
Has anyone dealt with the SDS Data Sweeper app? After packaging and installing it will prompt to be an device admin on Android Enterprise. It also requires the Appear on top Permission. Any one have any luck including a script in the package to automatically activate and grant the permissions needed? I have a company that will want it installed on about 2000 Shared Samsung devices that are already out in the field. We don't want to have to manually go activate the app. I have asked the developer a couple of times but have not gotten an answer yet from them. Or does anyone have any other solutions for clearing website cookies and cache for more than just Soti Surf. Data Sweeper can be configured to clear the data after a timeout period of inactivity or after detecting a charging state. Let me know what you have.Thanks in advance Allen
Hello all, I have a customer on console version 14.4.9.1034 and they have an internally built application for which they always want the location services enabled. Right now we are manually configuring the setting and then locking out the ability to change it via the Content and Privacy restrictions in Screen Time on the device itself before sending the device to the end user. This causes a variety of issues and the customer is looking for a way to control this via Soti. My question is, does anyone know if a custom profile that can be built to control this setting just as it relates to this one app? To make it a little more complex, they are a mix of DEP and non-DEP iPhones and the iOS ranges from 11 to 13.
Hello, We have Soti Instances one runing windows devices and another Managing Android Enterprise devices, This was done simply as we wanted to start clean with the android devices, my Idea now is to migrate the windows devices to the new Soti server running on the same version 14.7. firstly Would you recommend this and secondly can this be done via a script ?
These are rugged Zebra and Panasonic scanner devices. The profile would automate the tethering between these devices and Apple iPads. Version 14.4.9 of MC.

I would like to find a way without building a folder for each device model to apply the remote control skin to it. With our Zebra MC3300's the Auto Skin works but with Samsung devices the auto skin does not work. I looked at doing a virtual group but you cannot apply a skin to a virtual group. We currently have a lot of Samsung Tab Active 2 and Samsung Tab active pro devices and they all reside in the same folders within site groups. It would be nice if there was either a way to get Auto Skin updates or to be able to assign a skin based on device model.
Hello. We have MC 14.4 OnPremise and some Samsung Tab A6 (Android 8.1.0, AE, COBO, afw#mobicontrol) enrollment. For a few days we have realized that all devices have "Agent Outdated (Upgrade Required)" icon.The agents version are between 13.7.5.103 and 14.1.8.111 If we start the agent upgrade from the web page, the warning "Invalid device software version (Device is not allowed to upgrade)" appears. All devices allow remote control, but we can't manage any profile/package (Install/Removal Pending). I can't even remove LockDown. I have a deployment out of control completely. Any idea, please.
We have 3x Sahara Clevertouch Smart Screens & would like to know if MobiControl would firstly enroll, and then control them. We can't find an agent to download under Sahara or Clevertouch. Is there a generic or custom agent to use to start testing on devices like these?

Can you elaborate what those new adresses are for: --NEW ADDRESSES-- 13.248.157.19 76.223.23.230 75.2.25.8 99.83.149.241 Do They have to be whitelisted only for the server or also for clients etc.? What is the use for each of the adresses or what are mandatory and voluntary for MobiControl to work properly (i.e. Skins-Services).
It is extremely hard to assign a profile to specific devices in a large container if we are not able to sort the devices by name. The devices appear in random order and there is no visible method to sort.
Hi,Does someone know is it possible to disable persist settings for soti after resetting device?Right now they are interfering with my zebras persist settings and i would like for them to be first one to be implemented.Alternative would be to remove agent with stage now xml, but as client is set as device admin, i was not successful.I also tried deleting xml files in /enterprise/usr/mobicontrol before reset, but it still kept settings after reset.
Hello, I am unable to power off my Android 9 (Samsung Galaxy A50 devices) in our new Soti platform (V.15). Our devices are now Android Enterprise, and the scripts we have been sending are not supported. Does anybody know of anyway we can remotely turn off the devices. Thanks, ECM
