Hi everyone, We are using SOTI MobiControl with Zebra devices for quite a while, now we are testing some Honeywell devices. After registration and pushing some apps and configs to the devices we end up with the following screen: Here are my 2 questions: How to disable the notification of the MobiControl Agent that is is running? On Zebra devices this is not showing by default. Is there a way to create a configuration with Honeywell Enterprise Provisioner or is there a way to do it out of the box with MobiControl? How to disable the silent notifications from the Android System (after pushing a certificate to the device)? On Zebra devices there is a way to do it with StageNow (https://techdocs.zebra.com/stagenow/5-13/csp/ui/#network-monitored-message-enabledisable). I dont want to disable notifications at all (for all or specific apps), just these two notifications. There is no information for the enduser, they will ask what that means and this is not helpful. Hopefully someone can point me into the right direction. Thanks in advance. Best regards Börge
I am running on an issue where some of our Zebra MC9300 wont connect to the remote display after being updated. We are on the 2025 MobiControl with the latest agent and plugins. The devices are running lifeguard 14-23-05.00-UG-U03-STD-HEL-04. Any thoughts on what could be going on here? Edit: I have also tried with and without plugin.
Hi, I'm trying to configure my first Windows device in SOTI and I'm facing a few obstacles. I'm trying to configure Lockdown menu like I configure in Android Devices, but I don't have one template to use this lockdown item. Anyone have one template to use this lockdown item, or I should use this in another way? With the default tempaltes it shows like this: Thanks. SOTI version - 15.6
Hi all, we are currently enrolling samsung devices A06 OS 14 and only allow whatsapp on the device. We would like to restrict linked device feature in whatsapp so user can't using whatsapp web. Is there any way to do this? Thinking about blocking camera access specifically for whatsapp, we used Script on OS 10 devices and it's work (linked devices can't open the camera), but it not working on OS 14. Hope anyone has any idea how to solve this requirement. Thank you
Hi, I am keen to hear if anyone knows how it is possible, via a script, to initiate the connection of a device to an SSID that already has a profile created on the device, but is different from the one the device is currently connected to.
Hello,We are using a MDM solution (SOTI) in order to deploy the Parallels client on all the devices. We have no problems with the installation of the APK itself but we would like to inject automatically the parameters itself (including the password if possible). We have defined a X2C file but the application is not authorized to access the file (and we didn't find any parameters to authorize such access for the application). Here is our postinstall code: ;; program executed with XML flow and variablessendintent -a "intent:#Intent;action=android.intent.action.MAIN;component=fr.solutys.filesettings/.MainActivity;S.LoginProginov=%CustomAttr:LoginProginov%;S.NomTerminal=%CustomAttr:NomTerminal%;S.file-modify=/sdcard/solutys/servers.2xc;end;"sendintent -a "intent:file:///sdcard/solutys/servers.2xc#Intent;type=application/2xc;action=android.intent.action.VIEW;launchFlags=0x10000000;end" We also tried to copy the X2C file in the "data" folder without success: copy %sdcard%/Download/servers.2xc %sdcard%/Android/data/com.parallels.client/files/Parallels Client/servers.2xc Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
We want to check the devices enrolled on SOTI whether they are already registered on Zero Touch or not. If not, an email alert needs to go out, which will then alert the IT admin to register the device to Zero Touch.
I am looking to Deploy eSim to a number of Zebra Android devices but cannot find any information about this in Soti, Is this even possible of is that an IOS only thing>
Hi Community, I struggle a bit to get EHS installed through play store with the OEMConfig to set it up as default launcher. Is what I configured so far. But it does not apply. MobiControl does not scream for what is mandatory for it, hence I am a bit lost and reaching out to you. Hello, I have kiosk mode enabled with multiple applications, including a shortcut for a web-based app. I need to enable forced zoom in the browser so that end users can zoom in and out as needed. When in admin mode, I can achieve this in Chrome by going to Settings > Accessibility > Force Enable Zoom. However, I’ve tried various approaches in kiosk mode, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know how to enable forced zoom specifically with SOTI Surf in kiosk mode? The "Allow Zoom Gestures" is checked. Thanks in advance!
We have noticed new devices being enrolled with Modern Enrollment using the automated PPKG is not installing the soti agent. We have let the devices sit for over an hour and they never seem to install the agent. They are Windows 11 Pro 24H2 devices. We can see them populate in MobiControl web console but never come online. Has anyone else experienced this?
We are having an issue where when a device enrolls, the signal strength will not display in the status bar any longer. We are seeing this on Zebra devices, TC77 running Android 10 and TC78 running both Android 11 and Android 13. Has anyone ran into this issue and if so, were you able to resolve it? This does not happen on all our devices, just a few. The devices that it does not happen on are running the same configurations as the devices it does happen on.
Hi all, We, as a partner, are facing the challenge of remotely upgrading Android 10 and 11 devices to Android 13. We have been following this two articles to upgrade devices with Android 10, and 11 to Android 13: https://supportcommunity.zebra.com/s/article/000027787?language=en_USchttps://techdocs.zebra.com/lifeguard/a13/#migrationprocedure We have successfully been able to upgrade devices from Android 10 and Android 11 to Android 13, however we are facing a challenge due to devices that are configured on custom APN network, those devices that we have upgraded to Android 13 will load the default APN settings which are incorrect, and the device will not connect after upgrade because it will not have internet access. So we would like to ask here if anyone would have a solution for devices that are on custom APN (4G/5G) networks and are without Wi-Fi how to reload, or reconfigure the APN network in the process of upgrading it? Any ideas would be great on that matter.
after pushing an application update it happens that a pda doesn't update. instead of manually going through all the pda's to verify the version number of the application i thought i'd use the search function in MobiControl if i search by application name i get all pda's with the application installed. but when i use: name = appname and version = 4.1.32 i no longer get any result back. am i doing something wrong?
Hello, Is it possible to add "OEM Version" information in lockdown template, like device name with %DEVICENAME% or Mac Adress with %MAC%?Thanks for your help
