    Elo Touch(Model: Elo-i2-10Val) enrollement - Agent not compatible Solved Locked

    Hi! I got some Elo Touch(Model: Elo-i2-10Val) where it was wanted that I enrolled these into SOTI MobiControl and enrolled some software on them. First of all i tried setting up a rule which included the Elo Touch in the "MobiControl Agent Selection", with this is seems like it don't find an Agent(which is logical for my next observations).  Futher I tried a couple of the Agents from https://docs.soti.net/mobicontrolagentdownloads/ and when enrolling with one of these the unit gets enrolled(so it passes the HW-check), but in the Device Groups it appears as "Agent not compatible". Any which have any ideas regarding this? Might it be that it isnt compatible to the server-version? I see that the current server-version running is: 14.2.2.1170 Br. Anders Kvisvik FARA

    Stuck at Packages tab Solved Locked

    Hi all, I have been testing v15.0.2 and I was about to migrate from 14.1 to 15.0.2 when all of a sudden, this happened. Neither I from web console, nor the devices via mobicontrol installation can get the packages. There are no logs that I can relate to anything similar to this. Any ideas?

    Motorola TC55 - Device Agent doesn't upgrade

    Hi For some reason my Motorola tc55 devices wont upgrade to a new version. When i select upgrade now in the console nothing is happening, the yellow exclamation mark at the bottom still remain. Is there perhaps any alternative way to upgrade the agent MC version - 13.4.0.5519 Devices - Motorola TC55  OS - 4.1.2

    DSE certification expiration on MobicontrolCloud?

    Hi team. When I connect to SOTI Mobi control admin, a message popup now.I have searched article in Discussion, but I don't see clear answers.Can you reply to me? SOTI Mobi Control version is 13.4.0.5121.Access environment is SOTI cloud service. Not local installation.Thanks.

    Battery Serial Number from Panasonic FZ-X1 Solved Locked

    We have over 300+ Panasonic FZ-X1 handheld devices and we need to check the battery serial numbers. I noticed at this link that this is something that Data Collection can collect. My issue is that we have Mobicontrol v.14.2 and not v14.4 (from the reference pages version below). When my collection rule is setup, Battery Serials aren't being collected. Do we need to have Mobicontrol v14.4 or can this information be collected with v14.2? https://www.soti.net/mc/help/v14.4/en/console/devices/monitoring/datacollectionrules/check_batteryhealth.html Please be aware that the Panasonic FZ-X1 is running agent version 14.1.1.1003 and device plugin 1.16.0.100.

    Android Work Profile - Unable to install Apps from Unknown Sources Solved Locked

    Hello Everyone, currently i am struggling with the work profile on android. First some infos about MC and MC Agent:MC Version: 14.4.4.1045 (cloud hosted by SOTI)MC Agent: 14.1.5 Build 1059 (Android Enterprise Agent from GoogePlay) So we are using Samsung S10 devices. They are up to date with firmware/security updates. The devices are configured as "Managed Work Profile" in MobiControl. Everything works fine except one thing.After i enrolled the devices into MC i am no longer able to install any Apps via apk's out of my work profile (container).They don't have any profiles assigned which could disable the installation from unknown sources. In the feature control i am able to allow the installation from unknown sources. But this count only for Fully Managed devicesand not Managed Profile devices. So does it mean i am not allowed to install any apks at all because there could be an app who could "attack" the work profile? Is there still a way to allow the installation? Or am i doomed? Cause my useres should be allowed to install anything theywant. It is up in their responsibility when they do something wrong.

    Disabled navigation bar in SOTI surf showing as white line.

    Hi,I wanted to make kiosk mode browser with one page and remove navigation bar (the one with Back, Home, Recent buttons). I managed to remove it with stage now, but now when opening Soti Surf it shows white line where navigation bar was placed. Has anyone encountered this problem and have found a fix or workaround? I want to use soti surf instead of Zebra Enterprise Browser as it would make it easier to configure sites with custom attributes. Zebra CC6000Agent - 14.1.3.1027 Version: 14.3.4.1087

    Psion VH10 / Agent Reinstallation to move to nexwserver

    Hi forum I'm trying to move a VH10 from older SOTI MC server to the new server just installed. I tried to unistall existing agent then install the new one generated from new server. Installation of the new agent is ok but VH0 stays connected to the old server. I guess I have to do more than a simple uninstallation by deleting some files. Do you have any idea ? steve

    Enable Network Rating Provider

    When I install MobiControl I no longer have access for the Network Rating Provider on our TC20s and this disables our ability to Turn on Wi-Fi automatically. We've had a lot of problems with our TC20s dropping network connection and not reconnecting. I felt like this was possibly the issue. We don't have any problems with any other wireless devices on the network other than these TC20s

    Samsung Smart Switch

    My team and I recently upgraded a bunch of Samsung S8 phones to S9. The S8's were using the ELM Mobicontrol. S9's are Android Enterprise (and enrolled in KNOX).  My issue is moving users data over to the new devices. Smart Switch comes up with issues when connecting the phones via USB. I receive "Connected device does not support transfer of content" when using Smart Switch PC. I've enabled USB debugging on the S9's, but still having this issue. Anyone else have any experience with this?

    SSID

    Hi, We have a system where we connect to a 'Staging' SSID so we can connect it to our portal and put it in the correct group etc, we then have a different ssid that it will be connecting to for the rest of time when it is in use by users. The issue i am having is that the device keeps trying to connect to the original 'Staging' SSID therefore disconnecting from the internet. Is there anyway to have the devices 'forgot' the staging SSID using either a script or built in feature? Android OS: 9 Agent Version: 14.1.5.1059 SOTI Version: 15.0.0.6019
