Hi All,My goal is to access webconsole on both internal and external network. This is what happened on my testing: Management Service Address - Private IP / 443 *Assign Public IP with Port forward rule --> When I try accessing from public network the https://PublicIP:port/mobicontrol , it loads at first since I was redirected but it gets failed because after a while it changes the URL to "172.16.10.81" which is the private IP. Also What is the purpose of Management Service FQDN?
Hello all, I have a table FZ B2 (android 6.0) with a lock down, all works fine but the security service has find a gap ... It's possible to change user, and of course, delete the lock down ...the lock down disapear when you change the user ... I've try to delete ALL USERS under settings ...but it's not possible ... On lock down, i have checked => disable status bar expansion / disable settings change / hide status bar How to reproduce this : tablet sleep, touch on ...touch several time the user (blue icon) and you obtain this screen. After click a other icon represent a user or + , and the lock down switch off ... How i can resolve this ? thanks
i have install a new instance of MDM 14 . after creating KIOSK and authentication i have assigned the kapage to the devices . but it is not getting assigned to devices . thanks
Hi We are looking at migrating from On-Prem to Cloud (1000 devices). However it seems like there are some limitations, most notably no file sync of on-premise resources (and the File Manager is not the answer, if resources are being updated on-premise).It would be useful and if there was some kind of on-prem File Sync component that worked with Cloud. Just wanted to reach out to the wider community - has any one migrated from on-prem to Cloud and do you have any experiences to share? Good/Bad etc. It seems to me to be sensible to go Cloud for a new deployment, but is it worth migrating an existing feature rich on-prem instance to Cloud?
I have a problem starting a factory reset with my android devices. I have the settings disabled via a policy and occasionally a factory reset needs to be started by an end user while offline. My thought was to have a script that the end user could run to start the reset /w command, but I didn't see a way to do this? What I really need is to be able to easily have the device factory reset by the end user while the device is offline with the settings disabled. Any advice would be appreciated.
Hello - I have set an AFW auth policy to require a pin code on our Samsung Active Tab 2's - However it's not prompting on the devices to set a pin when its applied. If I look at the device in MobiControl it shows as "PIN Set - Yes". It's not however. I'm using the Android Enterprise Agent, not sure if that makes any difference?
We have an app that supports the AppConfig standard and we need to manage this app using a profile. Are we able to modify the app as required and manage it or do we have to use the app catalog to accomplish this? How would we manage the app going forward?

I've updated an system app to a pre release version via installing apk. I'm trying to remove the app in Mobiconrol, Devices > Applications > Remove program. Then I only get "Pending Uninstallation" When having handset in my hand and enter settings, select the app, and select Uninstall updates. I can remove the update. Is there any way to Uninstall updates remote via mobicontrol? This is not a customer issus, but I'm trying to understand how apps can be installed and unistalled, and what limitiations to consider. (I realize that unistall app removes settings and is not always the best way forward) Using Android 8.1 and Soti Mobicontol Version: 14.2.0.2894

Method 1 { "Action": "SendMessage","Message": "Hey There!","DisplayDuration": "NO_TIMER","MessageType": "3"} Method 2 {"Action": "SendScript","Message": "showmessagebox 'This is a test message with Yes/No button and no timer' NO_TIMER 2"} Both are not working. Client ID, Client Secret, Username, Password, and Device ID are configured correctly. What am I doing wrong? Thank you for your help!
Hi, is it possible to change the following Warning during iOS enrollment (profile installation) for non DEP devices? "Installing this profile will allow the administrator at <URL> to remotely manage your iPhone. The administrator may collect personal data, add/remove accounts and restrictions, install, manage and list apps, and remotely erase data on your iPhone". In addition to that we have to change the text for DEP devices because our data protection manager doesn't accept this "issue" even though we have already a company aggreement. Our workaround to apply our indivdual terms and conditions during enrollment is unfortunately not enough. Best regards, Marcel
Hi community and support, I wanted to configure Soti Mobi Contrtol in the way to use the Certificate Authorities to issue an user certificate for WLAN/Wifi access. The field "Enrollment Certificate" is a mandatory field when using the ADCS and PKI configuration. The description of the filed is the following in V13 and V14: "Upload the enrollment agent certificate. The enrollment agent certificate is used to sign certificate requests to the ADCS server and is explicitly trusted to request certificates on behalf of other users, for example, the device owner in MobiControl." My qestion is how to get such an enrollment agent certificate to upload it in the requesting field? All other configuration fields are clear for me. We are currently on version 13.4.0.3985.
