Hello all,

every time i'm connected to our mobicontrol admin console, we receive an alert with this message :

Your DSE Certificate for server xxx is expiring ... Please use mobicontrol admin utility to import or generate a new root certificate.

Ok, where i can find the step i need to do for to resolve this ?

thanks everyone

Hi Christophe,

1. Launch Mobicontrol Administration utility. Select the " Certificates" screen. Select the Deployment Server & Web Console from the table.

Click on change.

2. Select the "New" Certificate  or click on "Generate" to Generate a new one.

3. Click on "Apply" to close the window. Click on "Apply" in Main MobiControl Administration Utility Window to apply these changes.

4. Both the deployment server and management service will be restarted.

***PS: In case you have IOS devices on your server, it is recommended to install the new  DSE certificate on your devices before applying the changes. This will prevent your devices from losing its connection to the server. ***

Hi, useful thread, but where can I find Mobicontrol Administration Utility?

The utility is in the same directory as the Mobicontrol server executables on  the hosting MS server.

If you are using Mobicontrol cloud instance, the certificate import/generation procedures have to be performed by Soti support team.

Raymond, for those using a Mobicontrol cloud instance, do we have to put in a request for support to do this or is it something they monitor and act on? I can't find anywhere to check this expire date?
