Hi Team, Installed SOTI MC Android Enterprise agent from Play Store on Xiaomi Redmi Pro 6 device. Tried pushing applications using Package Studio but it didn't downloaded and installed. I'm getting the error of "Failed to install (incompatible platform)". I tried the same on Samsung Tab A using Android + agent and it worked fine. Pls .help
I've had some of our customers report their users getting around kiosk mode and either installing additional applications or streaming video, causing high data usage overages. The devices in question are company owned and "should" be used for business purposes only. I'm trying to make sure the device is locked down as much as possible to prevent this going forward. Do you guys know of any tips/tricks that users can possibly use to get around the kiosk lockdown to use unapproved applications or stream video directly through the browser. A few that I have already shutdown after watching the user perform it via Remote Control: - Disabled ability to take a screenshot with Feature Control. Found that users could take a screenshot and then get to other applications within the OS from here. - Disabled Multi-User Control with Feature Control. Found that users could login to a Guest account on the tablet and enter into an entire un-locked profile with no restrictions. - Added a Application Run Control which Blacklists a bunch of apps, including many of the built-in applications as well as extensive list of popular games and streaming applications. As I type this, I realize that maybe a whitelist would be more effective here, but harder to support with different applications across customers, etc.... - Regularly update device administrator password. Are there other workarounds I'm unaware of that a user could manipulate to get around the lockdown? Swiping down to reveal the drop-down, multi window, etc.... Thanks in advance
The lockdown was installed on my Coppernic C-five I put the administrator password on my device, it goes to the Mobicontrol menu '' Device configuration ''. Status of Agent Mode is Administrator but when you click on home menu, the device go back to the lockdown. So I decided to revoke it from my device, lockdown is uninstalled in the logs but I have a blank screen. It seems the lockdown is partially removed but I don't know why. The only way to unlock the device is to unenroll and reenroll the device on the server.
Dear Team we have one new device Sumsung J8 . remote control is not working . other activities are working fine like package push . file copy please find screen for your reference

I would like to add the SMS/MMS android application installed by default on the whitelist Control exec App ( Coppernic C-five device ) but impossible because Soti refuses the special character. Is there a way to do that ? Thank you
If so, what is the minimum server and device agent version needed? Any limitation(s) on device brand or Android firmware version? Is there any "admin app" to run on the administrator's device involved in the NFC bumping? Any documentation on the enrollment procedure? If not, is there any roadmap to support it?
I have a device (Samsung TabE) that was un-enrolled from the console for the purpose of releasing the device back to the user but the un-enroll did not appear to happen completely at the device. The device was online at the time the un-enroll action was sent. It shows as un-enrolled in the console, but the tablet still has our custom kiosk screen active. When exiting the kiosk screen and opening the MobiControl application on the tablet, it shows a status of "Enrolled" and "Disconnected". The device is confirmed as having an active Internet connection. How can I get this device un-enrolled properly? The user needs full access to the device as soon as possible to install their own applications for a govt mandate.
Hi, We have recently started staging a number of Android devices with Managed Google Play accounts, and today found that all of the devices were getting stuck for quite a long time at the pending action "configuring google account" phase of staging. We have staged a handful of devices at a time before with the odd device struggling at that bit, but never have we had the entire lot grind to a halt! Is this something people have seen before?
Hi Is there a way we can add a phone number into Contacts of an Android Device and make it an emergency contact? Scenario I'm trying to cover off is where a user cannot remember their PIN on their device and they need to ring the Service Desk for a password reset. Or is it just going to be a case of issuing instructions to the users on how to do it themselves?
Announced at SYNC 2017 and here we are a year later and it still hasn't launched?
Hi, I would like to publish Our Active Directory, in the platform SOTI Mobicontrol Cloud, my goal is to prohibit the direct communication between AD and the platform MobiControl Cloud. Please send me the procedure with the steps to set up the Cloud Link Agentthank you in advance
When we start the pairing, the BT PIN box is blocked by the lockdown. We have to put the lockdown off to pair the two products
Hi, On the SOTI-MobiControl platform, I want to prevent deleting the configuration of an IPAD group, as well as deleting the SOTI certificate. Thanks in advance, BR,
