Hi, We have a few iPads that need to be enrolled, they were updated to iPadOS 17.2 and when I use Apple Configurator to get them in Business Manager I get the following error message: "This iPad is already partially set up. This could affect the security of your device. Would you like to erase the partial set-up and start again, or continue with the existing set-up?" If I choose "Erase and Start Again" the process is restarted but I come back to the same screen. If I choose to proceed I can enroll the device in Mobicontrol and can manage it without issue. Has anyone else been experiencing the same problem and how have you dealt with it? What are the risks of choosing "Continue with partial set-up?"
Hello, sometimes our devices have an internet connection via WIFI or mobile but they are shown as disconnected in the mobicontrol console. I think that the script '_resetfailedrcdetectionflag restartagent' would help in this instance but as there is no connection from the console to the device I can't send the script. My idea was to create a home screen item which execute the script but I don't know which action need to be chosen or how to build the intent for the script. The devices are enrolled via AE and we are using the activity suppression in our lockscreen. Kind regards, Lucas
Hi there, For al long time a had a Profile with "Draft available", and it's made by an engineer who is not available any more. The draft is never be made active. How can i see what contains the "Draft" so i need to mad a change in this specific profile. It concerns a kiosk policy with 450 TC56 zebra devices connected. so need to see change between draft and recent version.

Hi Everyone, I am searching for an opportunity to create a shortcut for the flashlight in a lockdown. This only belongs Zebra devices with Android 13 in my case. Maybe in the future also M3 Mobile SM15X devices. Does anyone have an idea how to create such a shortcut? As I saw it correctly the flashlight isn't an application itself.
Hi,We have an app that google play protect won't install unless we physically press "Install Anyway" The message is "This app was built for an older version of Android and doesn't include the latest privacy protectionsInstalling this app may put your device at risk. Install Anyway"Once you click install anyway the app installs fine.The issues we face is if you don't hit install anyway fast enough the app fails and you need to go into SOTI and push the reinstall starting the process again. This is a huge pain when you manage fleet in the thousands. I fear what will happen if the app is removed from devices in the field and it needs to be redeployed. We cannot expect the end users to manually select "install anyway" If they do see the message at all. What can we do within SOTI to force the install? Hello SOTI community, Hoping someone can guide me in the correct direction here.. I have two application that requires manual configure IP address and port number to connect to our servers. However for every user it has to be configured but after it is configured the user still has access to go into the settings for the application.Sometimes user's accidentally miss-touch and delete IP info. Is their any way to lock app specific admin settings.
Hey Guys, we're using a lot of legacy Scripts in our Packages without any issue. Now we have a Demand to execute a JavaScript-Script inside a Package but I won't get this thing running.The Script works fine when I use "Send Script" but we want to deploy it as a Package (so also Filesync and / or Task Scheduler is actually not an option for us). Is there any chance to get this running? Or it is actually not supported to use JS with MC-Studio? Kind regards

Hello together, does anyone has an idea how to delete the entries in Velocity? I tried the following scipt commands but it did not work for all of my scanners (Zebra MC9300) kill_application com.wavelink.velocity del \storage\emulated\0\com.wavelink.velocity\*.wldep del /sdcard/Android/data/com.wavelink.velocity/files/*.wldep del /enterprise/usr/*.wldep It works, when i delete the complete storage and apps cache but then i need to add the license informations again. I do not want to do these steps for all scanners. Also interesting is that not all scanners same modell, OS and Velocity app version have the issue. The Velocity app version is: 2.33.23269 OS is Android 11 (11-16-05.00-RG-U22-STD-HEL-04)
Devices are being kitted for a new deployment and are powered down and shelved after kitting is complete. When the devices are coming on line some of them are showing inaccurate time reported in the logs. Is there a way to automate the time zone settings to enable these 2 settings as we already have a number of devices that have been completed.
I cannot access the folders/files from %sdcard%\sdcard\android\data\ on Zebra ET45 tablets I need to upload a config file inside another aplication folder, need to do this to 400+ devices so doin it using Soti is the only practical solution I read here that Zebra devices has hidden MANAGE EXTERNAL STORAGE permission (https://discussions.soti.net/discussions/impact-of-android-11-scoped-storage-restrictions-on-android-agent) But for our devices it dosent seem to work I have opened a ticket with support for more than a month now but with no resolution in sight Anyone else encountered this problem?
Hi,I have a large volume of Samsung Galaxy A14 devices to enroll.I need the display screen time out to be changed to 30 minutes as this enables us to remote to a device without the device locking on us.Before the holiday break I was using this script to change the time;writesecuresetting –sys screen_off_timeout 120000It was working with no issues however today when I try to use the script the device does not update the time.
