Hello, I have a few devices that i can enroll as a work profile but not as an enterprise device. We require the enterprise solution so we can remote control the devices if and when they need some troubleshooting. Our MobiControl server sits on xxx.xxx.53.53 and the Zebra MC93s are situated on a closed WiFi Network that gives the device xxx.xxx.55.124 Both IPs are reachable from both sides. I can ping the server from the Android device and i can ping the device from the 53 subnet. The WiFi that the scanners are has no internet connection and is an internal network. I asked the question before if anyone has come across being unable to enroll devices and i was told that there should be no issue enrolling these scanners on a network that is on our own WAN with no internet connection. We are unable to give the devices internet connection due to security policies in the warehouses we are located. Our enrollment server address that the rule generates is xxx.xxx.53.108 but when i try the server address on the enrollment part of the MobiControl app on the device, it throws a "Invalid URL" prompt. When using the Enrollment ID i just get an "Enrollment Failed" message. Does anyone have any pointers i can try?
Hello, I was wondering if there was a way to push out a chrome shortcut on the home screen of some of our devices. We are using Honeywell CN80s. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, is it possible to disable the secure startup pin with a script? My Problem is that when setting a Pin with DeviceConfig (Honeywell CT40) it also activates secure startup, the pin itself is needed for certificate installation but the secure startup is really hindering tasks that initiate any kind of reboot on the device.
Hello, Is there a way to disable cellular data on AE DO ? We don't have the option in the Feature Control profile (unlike Android+) Android Enterprise Android + MC version : 14.3.3.1111 Thank you
Hi guys, do you know if the version 15.1.2 is running on Windows Server 2019? In the documentation only Windows Server 2016 is mentioned. I wasn't able to get a test installation on a Windows Server 2019, but I'll do that in the future. But maybe someone of you already tried that. The more important part: We encountered some problems after the upgrade from version 14.4.9 to 15.1.0. I hope you have some ideas. The first one isn't that bad, but I find it quite interesting. And maybe the second problem does have the same issue. After the upgrade, the login with the local admin account wasn't possible anymore. I loged in with my AD admin account, the local admin account wasn't locked or inactive. We fixed the issue by resetting the password, after that, login was fine. Did you encounter the same problems after an upgrade? The second issue is with the Android Enterprise bindings. After the upgrade we enrolled one device as Work Managed device with Zero Touch. We used Zebra TC56 and TC57 as testing devices. After connection the device to a WLAN, Zero Touch started. The Soti Enterprise agent got installed, but the device didn't get enrolled automatically. After opening the agent, we had to enter the Enrollment ID manually. After doing that, the device connected to our server, the device got created and is visible in the web console. The problem is the device agent is stuck in the step to get a Google Account. On the server we got the error message: Error message received from device (Managed Google Play Account Status:'EMPTY_TOKEN Got response but there was no token!') In the verbose logs there is this: But the Enterprise binding is present on the server: In our add device rules we are using the BMW Group binding. My first test was to create a new binding, the BMW MDMI and use this binding in a new add device rule to get a new Enrollment ID. So we enrolled a second device and entered the new Enrollment ID manually and the whole process was running without the binding error. Did you encounter some of these problems too after the upgrade or do you have an idea what happend there? Thanks a lot for your help and best regards Stefan
Mobicontrol can display images/play videos, with audio as screensavers for Android enterprise in kiosk mode.
Good day, I have picked up an issue where we have around 15 apps being installed from the Managed Google Play store. All apps are set to mandatory and the devices are Enterprise. All the apps install apart from Soti Surf. So far it has only occurred on 2 devices out of over 100. This brings me to ask, if a app is mandatory and does not install, is there a script to install it, or is the only way to go out of kiosk mode and manually install it from the app catalog? Regards,
I am having difficulty sending some scripts to my Android Enterprise device - Samsung A50, Android 9. Our platform is version 15.0.1.1181 and the agent version is 14.1.6.1018. The scenario is: Firstly I noticed that after sending the script unlock, the logs need to update to state “Custom log (New authentication password applied)” before sending the kill_application and/or start script. After I did this I noticed that my test device successfully completed the scripts correctly each time – however, I then started sending them to other devices and was finding they hadn’t worked. This then has led me to find another issue: I believe what is happening is – if the device is pressed or touched by the user once the script is sent – then the following scripts: kill_application com.commontime.infinity.jobmenuprod start com.commontime.infinity.jobmenuprod will work correctly. However, if the user does not touch the device at all once the script is sent (I have found 30-60 seconds or more) then the final script is not correctly ran. The device appears to run the start script once the user opens or touches the device, but if this does not happen then the script is not ran at all – almost as though the device forgets that that start script needs to be ran. I have also tried sending it at three separate scripts – firstly sending the script unlock, and waiting for the logs to update to state “Custom log (New authentication password applied)”, next sending the kill_application script and waiting for this to appear in the logs, and then finally sending the third script – start. Again, if I press or enter the device manually as soon as the final script is sent, then the application does load once the screen is opened – yet, if I wait and enter or select the device after 30-60 seconds or more the application does not start – again as though the device has forgotten it needs to complete the third and final script. To confirm in all instance – the unlock and kill_application scripts are correctly working each time – it is just the start application that is causing an issue. Please could you provide any advice on how I can ensure the scripts each run - without user interference? Thank you
Hi, We are currently testing some Honeywell CT40 devices (android 9 OS) The device have a SIM card with data, but during enrollment it couldn't contact our Mobi server. As soon as I put it on wifi it connected to it and enrolled. I've also verified in the Mobi app, when you remove the Wifi and turn into network data there's SSL handshake errors and it get's disconnected. The server is currently running with a SHA-1 certificate. We are expecting to update this soon, as were updating our fleet of devices. Why there isn't SSL handshakes errors on Wifi and only on network data ? Thanks,
Hi all, Is there a way to make an application being automatically pushed to the home screen of the android device ? I've looked the configurations in a profile and couldn't find a possible way to do that. I know it's doable for URL web browser Thanks in advance,

I want to lockdown and not show the status bar, but I also want to show the wifi signal/connection, battery, etc settings gained by SOTI from Zebra. If I have Zebra Android Enterprise devices is this possible? Sorry should have been more specific. They didn't want the bar. Was trying to add to the actual lock-down HTML. Sorry I was not more specific. Thanks
I have deployed a WLAN config for eap-tls config for my Android enterprise devices. But there is no option on the WLAN config to set a proxy server . I see delays on the google account provisioning so I need to keep a proxy set until that completes. Is there any xml I can apply to apply the proxy on a device with an existing soti mobicontrol eap-tls wlan config?
Hello, We would like to retrieve some device information via the MobiControl API but can't find a related request. 1. Real time location of the device We could create a data collection rule then retrieve data via the request : GET /devices/collectedData But we hope there is a more direct and less restrictive way to retrieve this information. 2. System date and time Also, is there a method to find out the time of the lastest device reboot ? (I did not find the event in the Device Event of Alert rule) (MC Version: 14.3.3.1111 / Android Enterprise DO) Thank you in advance. Best regards,
