Trying to add approved Google Managed Apps to specific Enterprise Binding and get "Internal Server Error." Logs show Out of Contact policy didn't configure, Connection to %^@@.mobicontrolcloud.com, Device connected to server. I started over and added a new policy (no clone) and get same results.
Hi all, We using Enterprise devices. Around 8 apps download from the Managed Play Store. All are set to mandatory. The issue we are seeing now after updating the server to 15.2 is that on the first two devices staged. One did not install WhatsApp and the second did not install Soti Surf. The Agent Version is 14.1.1 Build 1050 Any Suggestions would be grateful. Regards Martin Doyle
Hi, I have an application Catalog setup to install Amazon Relay only. It's set as a mandatory application but it's not installing. I can see the application is available for me to download when I break out of the kiosk. Is there a way of automating the download of this application? We don't want our customers to have to break out of the Kisok to download applications Thanks Josh.
Hi Everyone, We just recently started rolling out iPhone for our organization. Currently testing our first device. We have the Apple business program account setup, device assigned, enrolled via the link; had another issue whereby I had to skip the initial remote management after factory reset. The issue at present is the app App Catalog opens in Safari and the link doesn't work. The VPP apps that I have setup as Mandatory does install correctly, both MobiControl and Waze app were installed automatically. The preview shows up fine but the App Catalog doesn't work. please see below. thanks
I have started testing Android Enterprise. We have server version 13.4.0.4339 I have added the Android for work Enterprise Bindings. I then logged into https://play.google.com/work/app and approved a couple apps When trying to add these approved apps to a new Application Catalog Rule, I get the below error: Am I missing a step to createing this for my Enterprise devices?
Hello, we have a new SOTI install with honeywell CT60 devices and I have provisioned 3 mandatory apps via an app catalog rule (honeywell movilizer apps and a netsuite app) for managed google play. Seemingly randomly overnight these three apps are uninstalled on a device check-in and then reinstalled at a subsequent check-in. Unfortunately this is deleting the app data as well and we're constantly having to reconfigure the apps and re-sync all data in the mornings. I've tried: enabling kiosk on some and not others thinking that has something to do with it, Leaving some on the chargers and others separate, sometimes helps other times not (I suppose based on check-in times). Leaving the app running vs not running (still gets killed). Haven't been able to discern any pattern that can give me a consistently reproducible occurrence. Hopefully missing some obvious setting. There are no logs in the mobicontrol console for the devices other than a 'device check-in' at the same time the apps are uninstalled (nothing mentioned about app catalogs etc). The apps are not being upgraded as there have been no new recent versions, and I assume an upgrade would leave data intact. Has anyone else hit issues like this with managed google play? Wanted to check here first before asking support. Looking at an ADB logcat from the devices at the time the apps are uninstalled, I can see a call to deletePackageX which seems to be related to play store upgrades but in our case the apps we're using haven't had new versions a month. The times of the removal and add are coincident with the check-in to mobicontrol. We have some work managed devices (Android 7+). We'd like to use our enterprise catalog managed by GooglePlay. We don't want to allow users to download an application without our validation (IT department), but we want still allowing the Google personal accounts creation. Soti installs the app as soon as enrolment finishes on My Iphone 5s but some phone like 7s or plus never installs the app. it says that install pending and stay just like that.
