I have started testing Android Enterprise. We have server version 13.4.0.4339
I have added the Android for work Enterprise Bindings.
I then logged into https://play.google.com/work/app and approved a couple apps
When trying to add these approved apps to a new Application Catalog Rule, I get the below error:
Am I missing a step to createing this for my Enterprise devices?
Have you tried clicking on the "Sync Apps" button at the top? Is so, what message is shown after the sync operation?
Hi, Thank you for replying.
I have added a screenshot for what happens when I select "Sync Apps". I don't get any error and it looks like it synced correctly. The second screenshot shows what apps have synced when I select "Search". When I select one of these apps, and select OK, I get the original error, shown at the bottom. Any Help is appreciated.

Maybe you can check your Deployment Server log for any reported error associated with App-Catalog rule/MGP, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, the following:
[ERROR] ServerUtils::CheckIfMandatoryApplicationInstalled()
I checked some of the my personal note made over a year ago, and found that there had been some errors associated with Google Play app in App-Catalog rule, possibly for MobiControl from v13.3.0.3217 to 13.4.0.4744. I can't be sure your current problem is related to those I made in my note.
In fact, the v13.4.0.4339 you are using was released on Jan 12, 2018, and there are over 10 patch releases in these 17 months. Your problem might be solved if you have your server upgraded. Of course, you have to evaluate the risks involved based on your server, policies deployed and device base in your particular implementation. If in doubt, open an official support ticket with Soti to consult them before you proceed with any upgrade.
