I have mobile devices already having MobiControl installed and working just fine. We want to install a new app to our company devices. We have added this new app into our Policies / Apps. This is a mandatory app, App Store License, Accounts Is set to our applevl account and Device Based. Automatic updates is selected. I have added this new app to my Profile / Configurations / Application Run Control / Whitelist. Save and Assign. When I look at a device name, Configurations the status shows Installed partially. I guess this shows this way pending the new app install? The app does not install automatically. I do give this time to see if will auto install. If I revoke profile and then install profile, the new app will then download and install. I do not want to have to revoke / install on all my devices. Why does the app not download and install automatically? What would be a fix for this.
Hello, I want to check install proccess and features, but I'm getting this error: My collegue installed the newest version few days ago. From 15.6 to 2024.0.1.1020. From that point there occured some alerts in console about Search function. And missing service. I know SOTI swap logic with searching in the newest version but something is wrong with our install right now. thanks for any help
Hi, I was wondering why iOS is requesting to install the iTunes app to install other apps. So devices are DEP enrolled, but when opening the app catalog (pushed from SOTI) and selecting an app ti install, I get following message: App installation:Log in to iTunes to allow "MdmServerX" managing and installing apps... Why does iTunes need to be installed and how to fix this?
Hi All, from time to time i have devices that pull their profile / app updates etc. whilst being in use i.e. using wlan or lte , although profile installation is set to ethernet / lan only. Is this corellated to the device update schedule, so is mobicontrol only taking into account the latest known status of the device and not doing a check-in before trying to install the profile? I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Hello, we want to install netmotion with device administrator privileges, after the devices are connected to SOTI. But SOTI prevents the app from being used as device administrator. We can't install the app before they are connected to SOTI, (with Zebra StageNow) because then we get a work profile, bur we need a work managed device. Is it possible to install netmotion (used as device administrator) via SOTI with a work managed device? Thanks and best regards Daniel

Trying to build a device agent for a windows mobile 6 device and when i look in the manager it doesnt allow a cab file to be downloaded anympre.. as well as when i look in the help it states that .exe is not supported in windows mobile 5 and 6.. what can be done here?
Hello all, we work with device as zebra tc75x with android 6 and android 7 our server mobicontrol is on version 13.3.3454 On the device we have the mobicontrol client on version 13.6.1476 Yesturday i have plan an installation automatic of a profile. All is done but on 1 device i have the statut Installed PARTIALLY ! On this profile i have some : bookmarks / feature control / lockdown / out of contact /phone call / application run control ALL these options are on statut Installed But authentification is on statut Delivered … I've try to reboot the device but the statut is still the same. Device is well connected, if i do a remote control on this device for me all is ok How i can do for this statut of this profile become -> Installed ? Hello all, we work with zebra tc75x Our server mobicontrol is on version 13.3.3454 The agent on your device is on version 13.3.2 build 1014 the device is enrolled on android + I must to install the soti surf (14.2.0.119) on more 200 or 300 devices during the night .. but I've notice that after the soti surf is installed , the app need some permission -> 4 app permissions is ASK after the installation How I can make for to accept PERMISSION automatically ? Is there a way ? I can't imagine press 4 time on each device ...it take me 1 day perhaps .. thanks for your time

Hello all, i'm beginner with soti mobicontrol, we have mobicontrol in version 13.3.0.3454 and we have +- 700 devices under android 6.0. we have a package who contains an apk who is installed on all devices. Now, we have a new version of the apk and of course we'd like to update all devices with this new apk (package). For to do that (testing), on 1 device i've created a new package with the new apk. on this package, i have created a script who run (pre script) a command for to uninstall the apk i have put this package into a new profile, and assign this new profile to my device. that's work fine but..i've notice and it's normal i have two profil on this device !!! profile 1 with the old package profile 2 with the new package i think my procedure isn't a good way ? My question is, how i can update all my device with a proper method ? Is it possible to find a good procedure or tell me how i can delete a profile with a command perhaps ? thanks for all Christophe
