Why is it that I'm receiving a data base unavailable error message,

Hello Jerry Jeffcoat, 

This issue could be the result of a few things.

Are you a cloud customer or have an on premise MobiControl Server? 

For on premise, I would want to verify all the services are running in the MobiControl Admin Utility

As well as verify the status of your SQL Server.
