can you say how you had "migrated" the Server to AWS?

Did you have chekced the Firewall if all needed Ports are open?

Hi Marcus, I am quite not sure about the migration process to AWS but it was carried out by another team but as per them they succeeded and tested successfully upon migration.

Also network ports requirements was met at that time. Even for now some of devices getting connected to SOTI server and most of devices for specially model Motorola MC55A0 and MC5590 are not connected.

Any ideas what could be the reason for this as few same model devices are connecting frequently and majority of devices are not

We have MC-67 devices running Windows Mobile Embedded 6.5 deployed. When we moved from a locally hosted SOTI MobiControl Server to a hosted server we migrated all devices as your team did for you. It was my experience that some devices would attempt to connect to the new server location but then revert to the original server because both were still defined in the MobiControl client app on the device. I recommend trouble shooting one device that is not connecting with one that is connecting. Verify the new server you migrated to is the one and only server available in the MobiControl Client app on the device. We had issues where the new server was available to connect but the original server maintained priority in the app. Thus the device would not stay connected to the new server. Verify the WiFi connection is able to reach that server. If PING is available try pinging the AWS server or at least ping a known website that allows pings. The fact that a few devices successfully migrated and are still connecting suggests this is a problem on the MC-55 side of the equation.

As far as your question about moving from the old SSID to the new one, MC-55 WiFi manager app has a way to save the WiFi settings to a file. You should research how best to do that through the MC-55 users guide as I am not familiar with that total process for Window CE 5.2 devices.
