TC52 - Android11 - Scanfunction

Hello,

Since update HE_FULL_UPDATE_11-20-18.00-RG-U00-STD-HEL-04 the “BEAM” is not working within the Soti lockscreen.

Before with HE_FULL_UPDATE_11-16-05.00-RG-U11-STD-HEL-04 the “beam” is working in the Soti lockscreen.

Outside the lockscreen the “beam” is working fine.

Situation:

Our scanners are rolled out in Mobicontrol (Version: 15.4.1.4828).

The scanners have 2 applications 1 APK and 1 SAAS application (webapplication)

the Webapplication is configured with https:// in the lockscreen

In the APK application the scanner beam works fine. But when we open our https application we can’t trigger the scanner.

The keyboard pops up when you press an input field. (still not able to scan something)

Hope someone over here know how to solve this issue.

now we are downgrading the scanners

UPDATE:

also tried with HE_FULL_UPDATE_11-26-05.00-RG-U00-STD-HEL-04.

same error

Try to a test following:

Add the relevant apps to the lockscreens also (as hidden apps if they shouldn't be able to be opened by the user = remove the relevant entry from the template)

Or check your datawedge settings but as you said it worked fine before, i think this should be fine.

thank you for your answer.

i do not exactly understand what you mean.

the app is working (browser opens a login page)

there i want to scan a barcode (username inputfield) but the scan "beam" is not working.

with Android 11-16-05.00 this is working fine.

when i open another app (an APK) the scan "beam" is working fine.

some additional info:

when i use Soti Surf its working fine.

but i do not want to push soti surf to all scanners at the moment.

In the meantime i started to roll out everything to soti surf.
