It works now for both devices. It seem that you have to NOT set some Settings in the profile konfiguration.

The only ones we now use are: 

I removed following Configurations:

• Application Run Control
• Feature Control
• Settings Manager

One or more seem to make a problem with RC+. Don't tested step by step removed all of them because the other device is using only those rules too (without "Out of Contact").

Maybe some one other will help this too.

I purchased a couple of new TC51x (Android 8) and have the same issue, remote view only despite installing the plugin.

Could not find a fix or workaround, stuck with remote view.

Can you please confirm if the device is enrolled VIA Android + or Android Enterprise profile/managed device and let us know what version of MobiControl you are on and what agent version you are using.

This way I can check to see if this issue has been reported recently and/or troubleshoot your circumstances better.

Remember that you'll need to create new profiles for Android enterprise devices, anything 8.0 and up. Create a new profile and select Type "Android Enterprise", assign the same MDM plugin package.

The Profile is Android Enterprise:

But if we take a look at the device:

and it looks same on the Android 8 device on which we are able to use Remote Control and the other one on which we only are able to use Remote View.

Out of the three, I believe the most likely problematic profile payload is application-run-control.  What apps did you include?
